Nuguse, Hocker and Kessler are at worst even against kerr, wightman and mills. The question is whether we have a guy who can beat Gourley. It would be a 1 or 2 second win with Gourley dusting somebody like Teare. Unless we have a college kid ready to step up to the next level.
Not a chance you would be saying that if it was the US team that had the last two world champions. You'd be saying the US is clearly stronger.
GB is clearly stronger because of no.4. but look at the first three names on those lists, and tell me who is gapping who? Those guys are all even and either one of those teams could have the lead.
How in the world does the Armormy not have pacing lights?
Glad they don't. That's cheating. You should not have any indication of where the WR is, in relation to your performance, until the race is finished. What's next? A line across the sandpit for the jumps showing them where the WR is?
Those Kennedy xc’s were so cool. I remember spending hours on eBay trying to get my hands on some red camo’s. And the unique spike pattern on the track spikes… mmm bring that back with today’s carbon plates.

It was his only chance to win. He was not going to outkick Kerr or even the guys behind him if they were together. His only chance was to push the gas and run away from everyone. He dropped everyone but Kerr.
Honestly dropping everyone except the reigning 1500m world champion is pretty impressive from Fisher. Not sure how else a 10k guy is going to win that race
Grant is not just a 10k guy but he currently training for the 10k in March. Very good debut and performance off of 10k training. later this year he will work on his leg speed.
Hull and St Pierre making their events a "don't miss this competition " .
Attended and ran in the Millrose Games on Sunday. A super meet with records falling left and right. Seats just above where the Wanamaker Mile athletes were warming up. Kessler still looks like he is in high school. Great run by ESP. Track and field would be in better shape if we had more meets like this.
The races were great to watch but the first ~35min of the broadcast were brutal. We had 4 sprint races lasting a total of less than 30 seconds in that amount of time. Brutal.

Instead of lights the scoreboard had an 'estimated finishing time' during the distance races. Every time an athlete came across the finish line he or she could look up at the board and see what pace the leader was on to the second.

I did think the telecast was decent. I agree about the opening sprint segment.
One thing I don't get about NBC- before each distance race they don't introduce the runners.
There are people watching their hometown kid who's probably not going to be a factor but by not even introducing them they basically aren't even in the race.
Just run quickly down the list as they stand there. Then, call the race. We don't need small talk to show how much they know about the star runner(s).
With the women's 800 up next, it occurs to me that we haven't seen Ajee Wilson at all recently. Injury? Usually she races a lot indoors, especially Millrose.
