I'd check for a bootleg insta or youtube stream, but your chances are slim. Pay for flotrack if you can afford it -- product ain't that bad these days, and you might as well given they have so many events + are getting Diamond League rights soon

Crazy fast 4x100, 4 teams under 41 with Pittsburg taking it
Am I crazy or are there only 5 girls in the 1600M final??
Seems like everyone's sick of Engelhardt. Don't blame 'em. Girl needs to move on with the pros and stop wasting her time with HS meets
Nvm I'm dumb lol
4:32 - for sadie and girl combe ewnt 4:39
The timing app sucks. Their are better ones for league meets
Dybdahl takes the 1600M over Fasthorse yet again

Great tactics by Fast Horse -- winning tactics by Dybdahl. Awesome stuff from these guys, big negative splits after weeks of doubling 4:10s/8:50s. CA boys really put the work in during the month of May.
100%, May is a grueling month for any top HS guy in CA. Kinda sucks because I feel it takes away the chance to see impressive times, but this has been discussed several times already lol

I 100% new dybdahl would win again just like last time.
Watching the boys 1600m is like watching the Big 10 finals. The crazy negative splits can be exciting but I wish we got some honest races out of them like we consistently do from the girls.

I don't think any of the california guys got into the hoka festival of miles championship race. They needed to run faster than 4:05, which nobody did

I think the announcer hit it best -- there is no dominant athlete like SE and they're all fairly close in personal bests; the psychology of HS boys being more kick-oriented; the fact that they have run at a high level for weeks on end to qualify.
A 4:08 with a 55 close does suggest Dybdahl can scare sub-4, though

Noonan ran 4:04 but idk what the standard is
XAI RICKS COMES BACK WITH 46.79 TO WIN THE 400
800 M - Cain Evans 1:50.21
Gotta say, I really wanted Bodi to win. Disappointing.
I am sorry to say, but I hate it when someone with just natural talent overtakes someone who puts in the work

Fast horse said on strava he's going to be in the festival of miles and nike outdoor as his last races
Top 2 800M times were 1:50.2, hella fast race this year
I swear, kids in CA are cursed with being unable to break 1:50 😂 probably because of the stupid ass waterfall

That's an odd thing to say, since you were the one who mentioned that Bodi had more 400m speed than the others. That could be considered more natural talent. Maybe Cain Evans outworked him. Or peaked at a better time. Or ran a better race. All those all are possible. But I don't think it is possible he beat him with just pure natural talent. Besides that, 2 other guys beat him. Was that just natural talent for them as well?

He did have the most 400M speed, and so did the state champ last year. What part of that makes it natural talent though? He's merely just more the 400/800 type
I say "natural talent" because this is only Evans's 2nd year of track, and his PR was like 2:00 or something last year. Bodi has ran since his freshman year if not longer than that
Bodi has way more experience and he deserved it way more imo. But oh well, it is what it is.
What the hell was that? Freddie Crittenden just ran 18 seconds in the hurdles
