How would they have done in the Class A state meet?

Turns out that Corning boys team would have finished in the bottom 3 if they scored as a team.

Saratoga's boys have been disappointing. They're not really in contention for an NXN bid.
I love how people were saying how disappointing Saratoga boys were when they raced bad in the middle of the season. This proves that you can never judge a team in October, some teams actually know how to peak at the right time.
Oliver Jibb from MW had two notable "bumps" this season. He started out about where he left off last year with mid-160's SRs, then about mid-season found a gear and jumped to mid-170's, and then hit a 183 today for the tie with SS. If there was an MVP award, he'd be my vote.
St Anthony’s speed ratings
3 in high 170s
Next 2 didn’t hit 160. This is what’s going to hurt their chances of returning to NXN

Emily Bush wins Class A
157 speed rating. She had Macchia on the ropes the entire race
What a great race by Emily Bush. Wow! Super HS career, for that matter.
Based on the merge for all 4 classes, Monroe Woodbury takes the win overall.
With Jibb being the only one graduating, this should motivate the Monroe Woodbury returners to put in work in the off-season and finally get that state title next year.
Entries list for feds is here
Monroe Woodbury and St. Anthony’s will be there but no Saratoga boys team
Two PSAL teams in the top 4! Xavier 5th place. That's three NYC schools in the top 5!!!
MW's 5th guy continues to step up. Auburn was totally flat, no spark at all. Tempoing or mailing in in, who knows? Absolute disaster for St Anthony's. Not much else to show, for NXN team contenders.
MW’s 5th and 6th runners are actually continuing to step up. When there’s a big gap behind their #4, it helps that the two have each other to push and help out.
Appears that St. Anthony’s Morelli had an off race but they would have not been close to winning if he raced like he should have.
So it’s pretty clear that Saratoga and MW boys teams are the two favorites in the region.
Auburn is still struggling to find a fifth man and lost to Brooklyn Technical
Xavier’s 1-5 are juniors and beat North Rockland who has no seniors (they have 2 sophs and 2 freshmen)

Auburn's 1-2 from last year are running 4th and 5th for them. That has killed them.

Yikes. But next year they bring back all of their top 3.
Also their 7th and 8th man. Only 1 person from this returning group is a junior
