“I think that Judge Cannon is intellectually out of her league and is having some weird analysis paralysis because her personal partisanship makes her place Trump’s bizarre arguments (like that nuclear secrets are his personal records) on par with Smith’s *actual* legal arguments. She’s afraid of making any mistake, lest Smith have a basis to appeal and perhaps get her removed, and so in this lost, ineffective, and paranoid state, the best she can hope for is that Trump gets elected and the case just goes away. So that’s her play.”
You're not a republican you just spend countless hours here defending every GQP talking point and 8 years later and you are still whining about cankles while simultaneously defending a career grifter criminal. SMH
I'm not republican I'm anti-Democrat. Just like you don't actually care about Biden you just voted against Trump.
I didn't bring up the corrupt skank your fellow leftist did.
And I don't defend the guy that lives rent free in your head I just point out your shameless hypocrisy.
You aren't a Republican and you're Anti-Democrat.
Basically, you stand for nothing and talk endless nonsense. Completely explains your affinity for Trump.

I think Analysis Paralysis is a good take.
Cannon essentially doesn’t take hard stands on anything. (This is a Judges job). She doesn’t hit her deadlines. She is clueless on the CEPA stuff. She makes rulings then admits they need to be amended after Jack Smith gives her a legal beatdown with case law and precedent. She writes her positions in a childish way where she grants the governments positions but feels the need to childishly justify and even scold the government.

I still hold out hope that the delays are not deliberate and that she is just overwhelmed with analysis to where she can't really think things through. There are some things that show she is just in over her depth: the stuff you mentioned, plus (1) that ridiculous "homework assignment" regarding jury instructions that, as far as I can tell, never went anywhere, (2) that other ridiculous errand she sent the prosecution on about where grand juries can be located, and (3) the dispositive motion rulings she claims to have worked so hard on in the recent order, are hardly rulings at all - they are like 3 page canned orders basically saying nothing more than that the motion is denied for now. She has barely ruled on any of the issues in the case, despite have months to do so, and a full record to do it on. That's why these delays seem deliberate, but we can hope it really is just that she's overwhelmed with the case.
That's mostly the MA@A Republican platform, isn't it?
The only republican running for office is RFK, Jr.
MA@As are the party of dictatorship and hate. God gave them Trump to exterminate the masses. That fake god is a golden calf … a false idol which, the Bible states, breaks the first commandment and worshipping a false god. Trump is obsessed with gold.

She has this ridiculous secret docket where she determines what gets to the public. . And then she made this ridiculous ruling that both the defense and govt need to get together and agree on what needs to be redacted on each filing. WTF?
Defense and Prosecution don’t agree on stuff. Especially when the defense would like this case delayed until 2035.

Her actions make no sense
What secret docket?
Court often require parties, including prosecution and defendant, to come up with agreements on issues like redactions. That shouldn't be too hard for them to do for most proposed redactions. If they can't agree on a few, the judge can decide. Or 99.9% of judges can. This one maybe not. I agree, many of her actions make no legal or procedural sense at all.

Secret docket is not the right term. It’s been called a shadow docket. She demanded all court filings go there first instead of the public. All parties can review and agree before going public with filings. The problem is that this is yet another layer of litigation and appeal for delay.
If it involves delay. Cannon is all in for it.
She keeps using the excuse that it is the complexity of the case causing her slow walking, but she is causing the complexity.

You can guarantee that she does not care about losing her job. Trump has already agreed to hire her, at a lot more money, all funded by MaaaGaaas
"Very strange" doesn't capture it. It's fvcking creeped-out max creephood is what it is. But the MAG@s are all running around claiming it's totally normal. That's why I think most MAG@s are from the South where this behavior is commonplace.

I'm not following. The SCOTUS has what's been called a "shadow docket" but the refers to something other than what you are describing. I believe there is a protective order in the case that the prosecution wanted because they have to protect the classified information Trump stole from further public disclosure. I think there are actually two such protective orders - another one deals with CIPA requirements. But that isn't for all filings, and Cannon is required to follow CIPA procedures. I guess I'm confused as to what you are referring to.
But yes, I completely agree, she has either deliberately or because she's somewhat incompetent and spastic, delayed this case in a ridiculous manner. The trial should be over by now, and she claimed yesterday that she's too busy and confused to even set a trial date. It's unheard of.
