If Lagat retires in 2002 with that 3.26 in the book, I doubt you'd find a single poster on here not suspicious.

When did lies ever stop you two? You troll your own board.
If readers knew your ip's they'd liked be shocked at the ish the
owners of this site pull, and you lose what little cred and respect you have.
I agree with you, 'If something seems too good to be true, it is.' - It is incredible to think that at 41, Lagat is actually a medal contender, perhaps even gold if they leave it to the end.
With that said, I have discussed the Lagat A positive so much that I don't care to go back into the details. Here is what I know, long story short, Lagat's B was definitely clean. His B sample in addition of going through the same exact test as the A, was also put through an additional independent and more exhaustive test and it was clean. I don't recall if WADA has ever spoke about the 2nd testing of Lagat's B sample or if this is part of the normal process simply because the B sample is suppose to go through the same process as the A. Not getting into the science or whether Lagat doped or not, my source said that his B sample was unquestionably clean.
I'm a reader and have known this for a long time. Every day threads are started by them, mods, or shills who start the most "stupidest" threads I've ever seen on any forum, let alone a running forum. I'm on here once a month, and for the reasons that you posted. The regulars get "special" treatment and can easily have your post deleted by themselves or a simple email to a "buddy". If people really knew;););););)

And I forgot this one. I disagreed with taxgirlrunner about a facebook thread once. Apparently she's a regular, and my posts were all deleted. Everything that she posted stayed. That was it for me. They'll delete this too, but it only shows that the truth hurts in addition to their high level of insecurity.
Tell it like it is. I have no respect for Lagat and much respect for Torrence now. This is a farce of a "US" team now using unbelievably drugged up Kenyans.
Good job Torrence wrote:

He made accusations without backing them up with anything - glad to know that's what earns your respect. Birds of a feather!
I just want to know why the thread about Torrence's progression was deleted.
Seems wrong.

He couldn't get near that time after he was popped for his EPO use. And YES, the IAAF told him and his coach to stop bitching about being caught or they would go public with embarrassing information. PC protection will only take you so far. Lagat is a filthy cheat who laughs at all of you.
Without drugs he was still better than most Americans. Not at age 41 though.
He ran 3:27 in 2004, after the A test, so yes, he could come pretty close to that time after the EPO false positive. He was actually faster than El-G in 2004 and beat him leading up to the Olympics.
Also, after El-G retired, the crazy fast time trials ceased. He only ran the 3:26 because he had El-G to pull him to it. If El-G were still around for a few more years, Lagat probably would have been running 3:27's and 3:28's occasionally through 2008 or so.

There are a freakish number of vehement Lagat defenders on these boards despite the obvious sketchiness of his record and performances, especially during the EPO era. Almost like it's orchestrated. Hm.
Hanging with El G, who was epically doped, and even beating him, that's enough for my suspicions to be raised. Plus these performances in his 40s. And people like Torrence being suspicious. I'm suspicious too. You'd have to be a fool not to be.
But apparently there are many, many people on here who are convinced he's clean. I find that very odd.

You said this in response to my post. I'm certainly not COMPLETELY convinced he is clean, and I have no problem with overall skepticism, but when people claim he's doping without even a shred of support, or by offering up poor arguments why they think he's doping, that irks me. He has the 2nd best time in the world ever in an event - that's enough to raise some eyebrows, and also enough, when coupled with his training approach and health streak, to explain his success at 41.
It IS wrong, and that's why I don't contribute anymore. The site is swirling slowly down the toilet bowl of failed forums.

OK, but thanks for this non-contribution contribution.

What makes you think El G was doped?

Um, what's THAT worth?? Zilch. Torrence is an idiot. This is a guy who, while being coached by top US coaches, was asking that buffoon (we are apparently not allowed to say his name, so I will initial it) A.V. on reddit if he thought he was doing the right amount of speed work (or something like that). WTF?!
Torrence is a dimwit. His opinion means nothing.
