They know what to do, they need to sit off it, but they get caught up racing rather than executing their plan. Gill will hopefully learn from this, but Reekie does it far too often, it looks hardwired at this point.
At least Keely did what she had to. 57 first lap, total control, had more gears. Perfect race.
For Gill explain me this:
Hasnt she run 56-61 for her 1:57s. Why not have her go to the lead and hit 57-58 if it’s not crazy. She doesn’t look confident in packs.
Very true. Remember before the Olympics she has never been in a race where anyone else has broken 1.59. I think she could have front run 1.56. She’s only run 1.57 once
