~900 calories are burned in a 9mile run. Thus, equivalent calories burned to that of a 9 mile run at 6.7min/mile pace.
“So you wanna know my settings, to help me burn over 900+ calories in 60 minutes? My incline is always going to be on 20, and my resistance is always going to be on either 25 or 30.
“And then, what I do is I find a ‘ratchet song’, and I go for it. So when the song come on, I get my mind right, I lean forward…close my eyes, zone out, focus on the beat of the song, and I push.
“I’m pushin’ those pedals with the weight in my heels. And when I tell you, this works from top to bottom, baby, you goin’ to feel it! You goin’ to feel it fo shor, baybee!
“That playlist got to be on point. When I’m in the gym, it’s straight ‘ratchet’. I put those ear buds in, I zone out, and I make it do what it do.
The recent post deletions, which are responses to comments that are specifically directed at a particular poster, show this thread isn't a discussion. It is an exercise in confirmation bias - as so many of these threads are. It allows only one point of view, which is that of an unquestioning fan. It doesn't end the questions, it simply shows they cannot be asked. That of course is not moderation - since no rule has been broken - no one has been attacked or harassed - it is censorship.

But you all find that very difficult to do. So my opinions obviously matter. But you have missed the one thing that matters to this "curmudgeon", which is that it is impossible to ignore what has happened to the sport. But you fans try very hard.

“So a lot of people have shared their opinion, in regards to the Elliptical and the Arc Trainer… and I really greatly appreciate everyone sharing their opinions….
but again, this is my personal opinion of the two machines based on my results…and I’m sorry, the Elliptical:could never.
“The way that my waist has reduced in size, the way that my core has reduced in size, the way my glutes have lifted and reshaped…I’m sorry, the Elliptical: could never. … “Again, my personal opinion…(personal opinion, I cannot stress that enough)…everyone’s entitled to their opinion, their preference, but this is mine: “The Arc Trainer?…Hands down. Uhmm, the Elliptical? …Ehh, it’s okay.
“But (wrt the Arc Trainer), this is the G.O.A.T., this is the G.O.A.T. “😂
Armstrong continues to accuse Parker of doping. Some get deleted. He accuses Wiley and none get deleted. Any hint of Tuohy doping gets a post and thread deleted.
Those are 3 different categories of violations. Your posts fall into those categories.
"Derail", when they are on the subject of the thread? "Duplicate", when they are in response to points raised by other posters who have directed their comments to me? "Low content" - well that's because my comments aren't in automatic agreement with posters who see it only one way, their preferred way. Theirs is the only view that is permitted here. So it isn't a discussion.
One thing that you can be assured of. You will not see this kind of moderation on a thread about an E African runner, female or not.
(BTW, the reason for post deletions is typically they are "harassing" another poster or individual. Really?)

I don't "accuse" them of doping; I indicate scepticism about some runners' achievements, with reasons supplied. There is a distinction.

You accuse Parker of doping when you say that it's impossible that she has achieved the results she has without doping.

I didn't say that. I asked how is she able to obtain the kind of improvements she has with cross-training that we don't see amongst the best athletes. It's a question, not an accusation. I further indicate scepticism that it is simply because she has talents the best don't have. But scepticism is impermissible?

Skepticism is permissible. The problem is that you flood this and other threads with repetitive posts.
