It’s act of war, silly. On the other hand, raising kids by a single mom is the worst form of parenting. Kids without dad grow up fking around and becoming criminals, and the tradition will continue to pass on to the next generation. AA won’t fix problems until there is some cultural change in yourselves.
Call it an act of war and the murder of hundreds of thousands of innocent people is magically erased
Turns out Liz Magill at Penn was already under assault from the usual suspects as Penn had hosted a pro Palestine event which featured Roger Waters
The same number of civilian casualties would have occurred if the tens of thousands of rockets launched from Gaza into Israel weren't stopped by the iron dome.
Sorry that Israel just has a better military than Gaza.
It says so much about the pointlessness of internet debate that these posts, on page 22 of a thread ostensibly about the Harvard president’s PhD thesis “plagiarism scandal,” mention neither the Harvard president, nor plagiarism, nor PhD theses, nor scandals. People have so many grievances—and those grievances are entangled so thoroughly in a political identity—that to talk about one thing is to talk about them all. The reactionaries on the right are especially prone to rhetorical drift because they are so intellectually bereft and so they hop from point to unconnected point hoping for traction, but it’s clear that the progressives on this board aren’t doing much or any better. It’s fascinating.
Just say you disagree with a post but have no argument.
The only reason Gay is under attack is because the Israel Lobby wants to shut down free speech on campus that opposes the genocide of Gaza.

Even CNN now admitting Gay is a rampant plagiarist. When lib outlets finally cover reality, it can be interpreted as the narrative changing to, “ok, we can no longer ignore that this happened but it’s not a big deal,” or, “ok, this happened, it is bad, and a resignation needs fo happen.”
Harvard’s recent correction of two academic papers written by Harvard’s president did not address even clearer examples of plagiarism from earlier in Claudine Gay’s academic history at the school, according to a CNN analysis...
Even CNN admits it: "As CNN’s Fareed Zakaria put it recently, a 'white man studying the American presidency does not have a prayer of getting tenure at a major history department in America today.'"
"By some counts, close to half of Ms. Gay’s academic output contains instances of copying word-for-word from another source without using quotation marks."

Yet she, who had basically no research published, became the president of Harvard solely for obvious DEI reasons
Look into the lack of credentials of SCOTUS Justice Kagan
Can you elaborate on her lack of credentials? You have so little credibility here that your cryptic little passive-aggressive comments aren't taken seriously by anyone, without a lot more information.
If she is in fact proven guilty of plagiarism, and just one case, she should be out. Until proven I don't think she needs to resign or be outed but the investigation should be thorough and go back as far as they can, middle school if they have to.

You guys are so uninformed.
The question is. What credentials did she have?
Was she ever a judge? No.
"Ms Kagan became the first justice in nearly four decades to ascend to the high court with no prior judicial experience."
How much trial experience does she have?
None.
"And not only had she never sat on the bench, but before becoming Mr Obama's solicitor general in March 2009, Ms Kagan had never argued a case in court. That differentiates her from the current Supreme Court justices, each of whom has spent most of their professional life inside courthouses."
Her selection was a joke

EXCLUSIVE: Statement on Claudine Gay from Vernon Smith, Winner of the 2002 Nobel Prize in Economics

It's difficult to take Harvard seriously these days. It appears to be intent on becoming the Bud Light of American Universities.
Most phony black intellectuals affect a oddball 'look' to enhance their bullcrap credentials. Hers is the bald haircut and bottomless collection of oversized, colored eyeglasses. Cornell West has the teeth and Don King hairdo. Ibram X Kendi has the long dreadlocks and purple-colored attire. Nikole Hannah-Jones with the hair. All part of the costume.

The university should investigate. But why the hell are we spending out tax dollars investigating private people about things unrelated to governing.
This do nothing house has so much they should be doing instead. Ironic that they are spending time investigating college presidents for not doing THEIR jobs.
