I'm sorry to say, 25+ minutes is not all that competitive for a 5K in your early 60s unless you're in a really small race. You're either not trying anymore, or your physical condition is starting to deteriorate. Fisky may be dabbling in conspiracy theories, but you have to admit, that's one fast old dude. I'm glad to see people of any age and fitness level staying active, but you don't really seem to be interested in serious running anymore. Have you tried Vaporflies? They do wonders for aging feet.
But in any case, Covid in your late 60s is no joke. The way it finishes people off - a month on a ventilator before it finishes them off - sounds really awful. Don't do that to yourself.
