They didn’t prepare for the heat everyone else had cold towels and water. They also spiked up way too early.

What a race for the D1 4x8 podium!
8 Rocky River 7:49.911
9 GlenOak 7:49.917
Yep! Places 3-6. Nice battles between 1-2 and 3-4 and 6-7 and 8-9. Good to see two Olentangy teams right up there.
Wow, nine teams go sub-7:50. Four second range between one and nine, not sure the D1 boys 4x800 has ever been this tight at the state championship.
Luke Snyder freshman from Rittman 4:15.86 in the 1600 for 3rd. That’s insane.
D3 800. Kaleb Nastari 1:48.31.

Awesome. He got the record? Plant's mark is 1:48.65?
Nastari headed to Penn State, it appears. Hope to see him tear up NCAA D1 in the next few years.
Brylan Holland of East Canton follows up his D3 cross country title by pulling off the 1600-3200 double. I graduated from EC, so it's always great to see continued success from the small town.
All time yes! Very cool! It was sensational.
Storm delay for D1. Track events at 6:00 PM. They are considering going to a rolling time schedule like in 2016. I’d have to think in that case Ackley goes 3200 fresh like Jordan did in 2016.

If Ackley doesn’t contest both, I hope he loses and ends his career with no individual outdoor titles
Davidson beats their guys into the ground, so my guess is he runs both
Anyone waiting for the delays to end?

Nah, he'll get fifth.

Ackley closed in 56.44 for the 1600m win. Will they finish the meet tonight or push some events to tomorrow? Couple hours behind now.

Yeah, he really dropped the field. Nice efforts by Gabelman and Razor.
Good to see Ethan Cope of Toledo St. Francis get on the podium as well as Charlie Vause of Milford. I feel like we will be hearing a lot more of Vause's name over the next two years.
I see that Rice DNSed the 1600m. That 3200m will be grand.
Coming up next . . . the 800

It’s like D3/D2 are the JV meets compared to this my lord!!!!
No scholarship limits anymore! (NCAA Track and Field inequality is going to get way worse, right?)
