I see you don't really READ the news. America's credit rating was downgraded due to this - "Fitch said the one-step downgrade to a rating of AA+ reflects an “erosion of governance” that has “manifested in repeated debt limit standoffs and last-minute resolutions.”
The above quote is due to BOTH parties over several administrations and is not a result of today's economy at all. Educate yourself. Read past the headlines.
It's always gas prices with you Republicans. Gas goes up and it goes down, and the President of the US has next to no say about that...unless he releases strategic oil reserves to drive the price down, and that only has a temporary effect. I paid over $4.00 a gallon for a bit during GWB's presidency, and that was a long time ago now when people made a lot less. I can fill up for $2.96 in my town today, and if I go to a Kroger gas station and use my points, I can (and regularly do) better than that.
I thought you Republicans were supposed to be tough and were able to find a way to carve your own path, pull yourselves up by your own bootstraps, not big babies who need to cry about the price of gas and what the government does or doesn't do for them. Maybe get a hybrid or an electric car if it bothers you so much.
I'll give you credit for this though...your orange guy, whom you worship, has been most recently indicted on 4 felony counts that are serious enough to equal up to 50 years in prison (no he won't get that), and you've got me talking about current gas prices. So, good show, brother! You win the Deflection Olympics!
Just so we're all clear on the LATEST felony charges against Trump:
1) Conspiracy to defraud the United States
2) Witness tampering
3) Conspiracy against the rights of citizens
4) Obstruction of and attempt to obstruct an official proceeding.
I'll take $2.96 a gallon gas over having a president with those kinds of charges against him. Kind of prefer not having a thread to our Democratic Republic, don't you know.
