You know, now might be a good time for our Very Honorable President put to rest these malicious rumors swirling around about his fake news dealings with Russia. I respect everyone's right to personal privacy and I understand that he's under audit, but it would sure clear everything up if the President would just release his tax returns and prove once and for all that he's got nothing to hide.
As Kellyanne Conway reminds you, this issue was already litigated two years ago. And the American people handed a resounding verdict. The end of story.
I know you'd like to think that, but it's not the end of the story.
Mueller almost certainly has the tax returns and Democrats in the house will be getting them soon. If there is anything suspicious in there we will probably find out about it.

To a simpleton it won’t make sense but I’ll try to help. When you start to see plea agreements it’s a strong sign that the investigator already has the answers. Mueller already knew the facts when he spoke to Cohen. Cohen lied because he simply didn’t want to assume Mueller knew everything, so he thought it was worth a try. Mueller took him down the rabbit hole and once he squeezed everything he could out of Cohen he exposed his lies. It’s called getting leverage. Chess player types know how do this by getting several moves ahead, often without the opponent perceiving. Marbles player types like Cohen and Trump have no clue. Trump even worse because his ego will ensure he hangs on to his lies until the very end and the consequences are that much worse.
But didn't Manafort also sign a plea agreement? But now two months later, Mueller says he was lying. So isn't it possible that we discover a few months from now that Cohen was lying in November 2018?
See, I didn’t expect you to get it. You think Mueller takes anything for face value? These plea agreements are formalities that he’s been turning into more leverage. Cohen and Manafort don’t have a clue what Mueller knows or doesn’t know, they started from a point of huge disadvantage. When Mueller brought them in, he already had 90% of what he needed. They gave him the other 10% through interrogation, either he corroborated their facts or proved they were lying. He knows when they lie. It’s very likely that Manafort and Cohen continue lying. Doesn’t matter, as long as they keep talking the pieces of the puzzle keep falling in place. They will lose and will give up the goods one way or another. That you have sinpleton reasoning has no impact on this outcome. When Mueller shows his full hand you’ll only be able to say it was all fake news by the deep state.

I wouldn't particularly mind that outcome--to paraphrase George Carlin, I'm only here for the entertainment--and I'll agree that it's a *possibility* . . . but I can't yet say it "looks like" either of those will occur. Do you have some info that has moved those outcomes to probabilities?
In particular, I haven't yet seen anything to convince me that DJT's defeat in 2020 is likely--much less a lock. Where does he lose 35 (or however many it is) electoral votes? I certainly think that Ohio, for instance, will again vote for Trump (or at least against Flagpole); what other Trump states are showing *solid* evidence that they would flip in 2020?
if you project the popular vote for the house at midterms onto the electoral college map, Trump loses WI, MI, PA. Which would cost Trump the electoral college and the presidency.
But my point is projected into the future - to say 'if it is 2019 and it looks like the Rs will lose the senate and WH.' We're not there yet.
And the Dems don’t even need those types of margins in WI, MI, PA. The GOP seems to think winning WI, MI and PA is something they can continue with this current dumpster fire of a candidate.

It was highly likely that Manafort would continue to lie, and it is understandable as he has still been in contact with Trump and Trump's lawyers all this time. Cohen reportedly is not, and of course Trump has completely turned on Cohen. All indications are that Cohen has really flipped, not just on Trump but on his attitude toward his own criminal behavior. With Cohen pleading guilty to all these things and helping Mueller where so far Mueller continues to believe him (through corroboration, not nothing), I would be shocked if Cohen lies about anything from here on out. Trump isn't going to help him. His best play is to tell the truth and get a lighter sentence by truthfully helping Mueller...and it appears he is doing just that.
Mueller is coming.

That was a huge part of the 2016 campaign promises for Trump and all Republicans.
They gained control of all three parts that they needed.
The House passed a bill. The Senate wouldn't vote on it. They tried to pass their own version and couldn't get it done.
They tried a skinny repeal and got this:

There won’t be a peep about Obamacare from GOP. They know better than to touch that.

here's the definition of 'if' for ya'll, cause there are at least two people who dont' understand what it means:
"on the condition or supposition that; in the event that."
That's great info!
Doesn't change the fact that your post is meaningless.

Manafort was convicted in one trial.
The plea is for the next trial and that plea is being thrown because of his lying.
No one is using Cohen's word for anything.
His pleas is for cooperation with bringing evidence.
Trump is not going to go on trial facing testimony by Cohen or Manafort.
If he goes on trial he will be facing bank transfer documents and such.
One thing that Trump has going for him is that he never really used email.
It's like the mob movies where the boss sends a guy to call someone on a payphone and relays the massage by speaking in person.

This is such a silly debate. I'm not one to use nicknames, but I'll do it to make a point...Trump is "Tiny". PERFECT nickname for him, coined by Stormy Daniels, and it has to do with what she said was a small penis. Fine. That's what he gets for screwing a porn star while married to someone else and then lying about it. The only other person I have known with the nickname "Tiny" is a big huge fat guy that everyone calls him that ironically (but yet affectionately as he is a great person) as is typical of people with that nickname. Trump is also fat, so the nickname applies there too.
Spanky is also a great nickname for him. Normally I like to stick with factual things like liar and criminal when talking of Trump. I also call him The Orange One on occasion, because he is, Orange. If we had to pick one word though that incorporates all of his traits, that would be "a$$hole", but I submit someone might come up with something better.
