Exactly like Floyd Barber. The President of the Senate (Vice Pres) gets to decide who are the duly proper Constitutional electors of record, not some goddam liberal-appointed shyster lawyer in Michigan. Detroit is a festering sistern of swill.
Is this person real or is this an act? I can’t tell anymore with the GOP crazies..
Kari Lake says Trump is outsmarting Jack Smith: “You can’t bring down a giant like Donald J. Trump. I think he would welcome that indictment. Welcome a trial. They’re playing checkers, and Trump is playing chess at the highest level. They don’t want to pick a fight with him.”
HRC was butthurt for like 2 weeks... I don't recall her not admiting defeat soon after the election, holding rallies to defraud her followers of millions, pressuring election officials to lie, demand publicly that the VP do something he didn't have the power to, lying to her lawyers, lying to the whole country, and inciting an insurrection after not getting what she wanted. Are you really that stupid to compare them? Go pray to your orange bozo.
You don't recall RussiaGate? The $8 million attempt to change the 2016 results in MI Ga, WI, and PA?

You are a lying liar that lies a lot. Full of crap. All the time. Just like Trump.
Donald Trump in 2016: "If you're suing somebody privately and they delete and get rid of all your stuff that you subpoena, you get a very big consequence.
Just really surprising that New York Democrats are not opening their homes to these people. I guess their huge tent doesn't have room for illegal aliens.

Fact Check. True statement by Trump! Attaboy!
How depressing is it that virtually every week or month, we become yet more sure that Trump's claim about the public support impact of him shooting someone on 5th Avenue was actually DAMN accurate ?
And at first I think, "Yeah, but if there was (validated) video of the shooting, they couldn't deny THAT."
And then remember, there IS clear audio of the GA 11K votes call. And it won't be too surprising, now, if the government can prove what classified document(s) he was showing off to un-cleared individuals at that meeting. Etc.
And NONE of it matters - or will matter - to tens of millions of Americans. Including a little representative handful on this thread. And they won't JUST hold their noses and vote for him. They WANT him as our president. Yep, PATRIOTS !
Here's a fun game for all of the Trumpers on this thread:
Tell us which Republican you want to win the primary?
And if it's Trump, explain why you want him over the others.?
(and yes, it's kind of strange that us non-Trumpers don't already have a pretty good feel for your answers to the above after months and years of daily exchanges)
(oh, and not to get too far ahead of things, but if you pick DeSantis, please defend why you want POTUS to be too cowardly to admit that we shouldn't put too much effort into teaching kids about all of the useful skills that slaves learned [especially when MOST of them would die as slaves]; thanks)

Deasntis.
And we don't "put too much effort into teaching kids about all of the useful skills that slaves learned" - it's only 1 of 198 bullet points on the FL curriculum that you didn't read. But it IS fact about the US reconstruction that I learned from the AP US History Curriculum which there was never any fake outrage over.
Thoughts of Desantis remind me of a frequent criticism from the Trumpers here: "You guys don't care about Biden's corruption !!"
But if we put aside the VERY important point that the people screaming about Biden's corruption are thoroughly untrustworthy, AND remind you that we're PERFECTLY FINE with appropriate legal investigations and conclusions, and ASSUME that Biden is inappropriately protecting his son and has benefited inappropriately from his offices, we're still left with this kind of comparison:
1) President found to be corrupt. Benefited to the tune of 6 or 7 or 8 figures from inappropriately using his position as Senator, VP, and POTUS. Caught. Punished. Lasting damage to the country: None? Little? A nice little success of our legal system?
2) A major state governor OK with "under-teaching" FREAKIN' SLAVERY. In FREAKIN' 2023. Sending a clear message to all of the remaining racists in our country that downplaying slavery/racism is OK. But that's not illegal. And it's not "corrupt." But the potential lasting damage to our country? A hell of a lot more than #1.
And in the Trump era, I can easily find dozens more #2's to pose against #1. Blackmailing foreign leaders, stealing elections, purposely mismanaging a pandemic, completely normalizing pathological lying, etc. And note that many of these are not illegal, either.
That's why ACTUAL conservatives - and everyone else to the left of them - despise Trump and Trumpism and Trumpers.

Sounds bad. I guess he should get the same punishment that Hillary Clinton got.

He stood in front of a microphone and defended it. He could of said, "Let me look into that one."

Got it?
Can you tell us who advocated "under-teaching slavery"? You put "under-teaching" in quotes so I assume this is a direct quote - from where? Kamala Harris shrieking doesn't count as a source.

Pure coward. Utterly unworthy.
He should defend it considering he ALREADY looked into it and determined there's nothing wrong with it. Good for him - don't accept the media framing on the issue.

I handled lots of classified information for decades. I thought that what Clinton did and said was disgusting. I would have liked to have seen her punished for it. Although I'm also not a lawyer - nor an expert on classified info punishments - so it's still possible that the non-prosecution conclusion was pretty defensible.
I also hope that Trump gets crushed if what is alleged is proven.
Why can't you take both of the positions above? What the f*** is so hard about consistency with you guys? If you're a secure, mature adult it's VERY easy. And enjoyable, actually. If you can't be REASONABLY consistent, it tells you that you've got other significant demons (inner and/or outer, I guess) corrupting your views.

Stating the potential personal usefulness of skills learned as a slave is "under-teaching" slavery. (not to mention that it only applies if you don't die a slave)
And if AP teaches that, maybe they shouldn't. And if it's defensible for some reason, make the argument. Desantis made a pathetic argument that doesn't survive any scrutiny. It was pure cowardly pandering, clear for all to see.
Next up: An R governor CLEARLY using the power of government to punish companies that say and do legal things that displease him (and his mouth-breathing voters) socially. What a GREAT conservative! Reagan and Buckley would be so proud.

You're not defending his defense. Tell us why it should be pointed out to students that slaves learned useful skills? We've heard Desantis' take. His voice, his lips, no media framing (typical lame blame-the-media claim). His defense su**ed. What's yours?
