Does anyone know what happened to Jodie Schoppman of SUNY Potsdam; not listed on the 2006 team roster or in 2006 team photo (from the school website)? Quit? Injured? Transferred? Seasonal Affective Disorder? Other?
I believe she graduated last year (at least that was the plan when I last heard from her).
AND...oh yea, let's try to keep the rumors to Cortland, Geneseo, RIT, NYU, and TCNJ (listed in no particular order so as not to ruffle anyone's feathers).

two idiots wrote:1) Why bother mentioning the incident on this message board? Who cares if someone knocked into you. Get over it, it wasn't like it was at regionals or nationals and cost you winning the race or qualifying of something. You might have been completely in the right, and the other guy completely wrong, but you still look like a crybaby for even bothering to mention it on here.
2) How dumb are these Geneseo runners? Who doesn't know the first turn of the course? I can see missing a subtle turn later in the race, but the first main turn is usually something that's paid attention to. Did their team not walk the course before hand?
Ryan Mulcahy's a sweet dude, but he's not the brightest crayon in the box. Give him a break... it was an accident. We're the ones who aren't douchebags, remember?
ah could i change your mind if i told you you had a really nice back?
Move that Gigantic Cotton Candy!
Anyone have results from the Region this weekend?
Cortland finishes 4th at Paul Short. I hope this opens everyone eyes a bit and they see how good Cortland really is. Shamus ran 24:52 and their 5th was only 38 seconds back...team average of 25:14. Cortland put 6 guys in front of TCNJ's 1st. It's worth repeating. Cortland put 6 guys in front of TCNJ's 1st. Even Haverford was in just 17th place.

They are for real.
7 in front of Haverfords 3rd guy.
wow...
IMPRESSIVE to say the least...Move over Geneseo...I think Cortland might have just made the statement of the month.
The Atlantic Region is DEFINITELY getting 4 teams into the NCAA's now folks if this keeps up.
4 into nationals? unless you mean RIT cause NJ isn't looking too hot
TCNJ or SLU will be there for Atlantic Region.
SUNY-Cortland should get an extremely high D3 ranking nationally as they did it up big-time today at Lehigh's Paul Short XC Race---check out the scalps they collected.
Wow... did TCNJ run it as a workout or something? I sincerely doubt they todays race was the best they could muster. Maybe their coach was cracking down on them this past week.
Also, great showing by cortland. Very impressive... I expected them to be good, but I didn't expect to see it for another month. Good stuff.
Statement of the month... of september. Let's not blow our loads all over our keyboards just yet.

That is a great effot by the Cortland guys, very solid 1-7 and there NCAA rank will go up. But lets remember a few things, it is september theres a long way to go. Haverford is probably a bit overranked, more on reputation, and only had 2 of their 7 back from last year. Haverford will keep improving, they always do, but they are not as good as the last 2 years, not even close. Etown is also just so so, overranked. TCNJ would be the mystery, one would think with all their guys they would be better, but they also came on late last year so most likely they are working hard and getting into race shape. It was perfect weather at Lehigh yesterday, and the race was not as loaded as last year, so there was more room to run for the 2520-45 type guys. Abdallah ran 2422 (or so) and was 23rd, that time would have had him 7th this year. Cortland looks to be very sharp right now, as does Geneseo,it shoule be some great races at SUNY's, states, regionals between them. The Battle for SUNY Supremacy. My guess is cortland moves up to around 7/8th in ncaa poll.

By the way, the Ithaca men did a nice job to win their section of the race. Five frosh/sophs in their top seven.

Oh no, NYRunner has returned to the Atlantic Region D3 XC thread. This can only mean bad things.
