I know Emry Carr has been on this board before, and the CDA guys have at least looked at it...
What do we know about CDA's training? My understanding is that it is moderately high milage (60 pushing 70 during the offseason, closer to 50 in season) but I haven't seen any specifics with regards to workouts.
I'm sure its a mix of short speed work with longer tempos, but I do wonder if they are doing stuff that may burn the fire too hot too early given their performances right now.
It seems to me that they either got lucky with genetic superstars + good coaching, or they took "average" kids and are training them too much and they won't improve much over the next few years.
