What to go, 'conservatives.' Way.To.Go. Canada will get the next Googles and Teslas but we'll be all m'agad up. Poorer but more homogenous! Win!

This month, Canada will start offering open work permits to any immigrants in America on an H-1B visa, in a clear bid to lure away highly-educated foreigners frustrated by the U.S. immigration process. It is the latest effort by Canada to capitalize on a growing sense from international students and professionals that settling permanently in the U. S.—between evermore competitive visa lotteries and a growing backlog of Green Cards—is too slow and difficult.
This is Biden's immigration policy now. He had 2+ years to do something about this.
oh please. The GOP has made any sort of pro-immigration politics impossible.
anti-immigration is in the lap of the Repubs and there is no way to deny that.
Right wing bull Sh!t is toxic and destroying society. RFK Jr saying Covid was targeted to spare Jews.
The usual lies by those invested in portraying Jews as vicitms.
RFK replied: The @nypost story is mistaken. I have never, ever suggested that the COVID-19 virus was targeted to spare Jews. I accurately pointed out — during an off-the-record conversation — that the U.S. and other governments are developing ethnically targeted bioweapons and that a 2021 study of the COVID-19 virus shows that COVID-19 appears to disproportionately affect certain races since the furin cleave docking site is most compatible with Blacks and Caucasians and least compatible with ethnic Chinese, Finns, and Ashkenazi Jews. In that sense, it serves as a kind of proof of concept for ethnically targeted bioweapons. I do not believe and never implied that the ethnic effect was deliberately engineered. That study is here:
This study suggested that ACE2 or TMPRSS2 DNA polymorphisms were likely associated with genetic susceptibility of COVID-19, which calls for a human genetics initiative for fighting the COVID-19 pandemic.

Trump: Charging a former president of the United States under the espionage act of 1917. This is meant for developing a nuclear weapon in your basement
*people actually stand in line to hear Trump say this.

Right, Don. Nuclear weapons were a concern in 1917. Right.

I have a question. With rent and housing prices already at all all time high and with a lot of families being unable to afford the high rent prices, does bringing in more people make rent/housing prices result in those prices going up or down?

Don’t bring logic to Communists. They support a guy killing kids in War, a claimed family man choosing which grandkids to acknowledge and talks to ghosts.
Remember, inflation has cratered since the Dems passed the Inflation Reduction Act.
WSJ:
The economic data that came out this past week could hardly have been better. The consumer-price index, which tracks prices for everything from used cars to groceries, rose in June at the slowest year-over-year pace in more than two years. Inflation in wholesale prices cooled even more. An index measuring the prices fetched in June by warehouses, factories, farms and energy producers rose at its slowest pace since August 2020.
this is a big deal, both in terms of helping the republic survive/morality and Dems winning back the House.
NYT:
Under orders from the Supreme Court to produce a voting map that no longer illegally dilutes the power of Black voters in Alabama, the state’s lawmakers are now facing a high-stakes scramble to come up with an acceptable replacement by the end of this week.
The effects of the revised map, which must be passed by Friday and approved by a federal court, could reverberate across the country, with other states in the South confronting similar voting rights challenges and Republicans looking to hold onto a razor-thin majority in the U.S. House of Representatives next year.
