Apparently it matters more in some polls than others, as evidenced by the NPR poll I linked to previously, which ranks climate change much higher.
But even so, the poll you sited does go on to note that it is still an issue of importance to American voters, in that of the respondents, 37% feel that Dealing with Climate Change is a "Top Priority", 34% feel it is "Important but lower priority", and only 17% feel it in "Not too Important", and 11% feel it "Should not be done."
And equally as importantly, Climate Change is the issue which had the widest range of difference between Dems. and Republicans, pointing to the deep partisan divides on this issue.
