Guelph implodes indeed!
Yes but Dennis is gone.
Who's next on your list?
Don't say PS.

Will DST show up coaching again in Canada, or maybe the US?

Depends On if it ever becomes public as to the reason he was let go. If it was anything other than sexual assault (including being involved with someone 18 or younger), I think he could move on. I mean look at Trump, look at Sutton, etc. But it would certainly take a while.

What's the CIS? You seem a little out of the loop to be making this statement.
Not really since the bulk of Daves coaching career was in the CIS, he even coached before in the CIAU, as well as up until last week.
Does anyone actually know the full MB details...what was she upset about that made her transfer...was it because she all the sudden came of age and thought DST was scum? She didnt know he was married? She regretted it because she couldnt steal him away from the wife? They broke up and her feelings were hurt..what was her actual Beef?

Dave Scott-Thomas went on leave from coaching at the University of Guelph around October 1st, so he last coached at a USports level in September, 2019.
With Speed River and U of Guelph so closely connected, the current Speed River coaches and manager were aware of something going on since the start of October. What has their response been these past 11 to 12 weeks?
It looks like Athletics Canada took immediate action once there was something official. At what point will the Speed River track and field club take any action?
I realize most of the post collegiate distance runners left Guelph already before the fall of 2019, but I can't imagine any distance runner going to U of Guelph or joining Speed River in the near future.
They would have been aware of an investigation in October, but no solid proof would have been provided until recently. Once there was action by U of G, Speed River also followed through and fired DST from his position with their club. Seems like action to me..?

Are you sure about that? I believe he voluntarily stepped away for now so as to allow the club to continue with little disruption.

Speed River has made some public announcements to their club members, but have not taken any direct action to end their relationship with Dave Scott-Thomas that I've seen.
Unless I'm wrong and you have proof that Speed River fired DST, in which case please post it.
I stand totally corrected, lol. I must have mistook the statement of him stepping aside as quitting, sorry about that!
Wes Moerman, currently the UofA head coach, is apparently interested. Former Gryphon and now has some head coach experience.
Wes should check into his staff

He's coached 2:09, 2:10, 2:11, 2:13 guys in Canada for some or all of their development, and a 62 guy for some of his development. So yes.
If Tate wanted to move up to the marathon, who do you think he trusts?
To clarify, I don’t think speed river can fire DST because DST is likely 100% owner of the club. He can do whatever he wants. It is clearly his personality to run a monopoly and have zero transparency that meets solely his prerogative. This is a real problem - the abuse of every element of the system, as well as everyone from athletes and staff and doesn’t look like he was accountable to anyone ever. Big time ego story here. I suspect This is the end of speed river as of 2020. The people in the community that want to continue will have to create their own club and Dave will take all of the speed river $$ and close up shop. Someone ask Scott MacDonald questions about how the club functions and I bet he doesn’t know a damn thing about what Dave does with the $$.
The guy ultimately screwed over a lot of well meaning people, in the community he lives and beyond. There are some great people that now have to deal with the after effects of this.

Yes , there will be clubs looking for a coach that is tagged as a predator .
AO clubs usually have a board of directors. If SR does, they can vote him off the island.
