Yes, the Olympic 10,000 is now a B-race and should be cancelled.
The collective Kenyan and Ethiopian talent running 2:03-2:04 marathons and 58:xx half marathons would push Farah and Rupp's 1-2 out of the medals if they cared to run the track and could make more than a few thousand dollars at a time for running 26:30s on the track.
This is why it is smart for Farah to stay on the track where he can win races.
Rupp has Boston and its fixed fields to shine against, but London brings the best and Farah will never sniff these guys.
