Powerhouse run by Keely, I actually liked Moraa's tactics to let her lead (though she ran a little wider than I would've liked) but Keely was just far and away the strongest woman there
Keeeeeeellllyyyyy! Finally! Olympic champ. Not how I expected it to go, around a second slower through 400, but job done, in the last hundred she had the gears
Great race by Hodgkinson. She really did a lot of work since she was leading for a big chunk mid race and pulling the others. That's stressful. Right before the homestretch, Morra was sort of within distance, but given Hodgekinson's extra gear, the result was never in doubt. Nice silver by the Ethiopian; Morra holds on for bronze. Kudos.
EXCLUSIVE BY DAVID COVERDALE: An Olympic gold medal is not the only shiny thing Keely Hodgkinson has her eye on this summer. 'I saw a really nice car on Pinterest,' she says.
