What’s the temp in Eugene? Valby may have a heat advantage
Right now, it’s 84 degrees, 39% humidity, slight breeze.

ESP gave Valby the buisness that last lap. Valby really cannot kick
Well obviously ESP will out kick everyone. Parker didn’t need to out kick her. She was fine in third. You know zero about strategy

Esp looking untouchable.
Yes. But also Karissa experienced and running a measured last lap as well. Plus ESP took off and Karissa paused before getting around PV

Taylor Roe is gonna have to wait and see if she goes thru. fingers crossed.
I think she gets in. It would take 10 people under 15:30 in the second heat to knock her out. That's not going to happen.

Elle showing Parker who’s boss
Elle closed in 64.2. Not gonna matter when PV runs 12 straight 67s in the final.

Wonder if Parker's dad and manager held off on signing, expecting her to make the team and spiking her price?
That would be a mistake if so
Not making the 5k team. Better shot at the 10k
St. Pierre and Schweizer run great tactical races
Parker is gonna end up getting a deal with Lululemon
Zero chance Valby makes the team. Had she actually considered chasing the standard at NCAAs, she’d have an outside shot. But she’s not finishing top 3 in any event. That was wild to see.
ESP is our best distance runner since Jenny Simpson.
valby may never make a team. She doesn’t know how to run in 2nd, let alone 5th or 10th.

All eyes at Hayward on Leachman!

Varker Palby being exposed by actual elites.
She's not gonna make it. That's just one heat, the second has Cranny, Andrews, Infeld, Rogers...even Touhy...all are capable of knocking Valby out of that 3rd spot.

It's still showing on Peacock.
Guess I'll just watch stanley cup finals then.
What are you talking about? Those were not smart qualifying round races. At all.

Predicting Valby is just going to go all out and redline at PR pace in the final. She has No Kick lol.
Ok Nico leveled up in terms of his close, so maybe Valby can in time. St Pierre might be able to compete with Kipyegon or Tsegay or Hassan, but it’s hard to see Valby ever holding her own on the last lap of a 5000 or 10000 in a race that matters.

Very impressed by Karissa
Hawk Tuohy
Spit on that thang.
Valby ran a 14:52 two weeks ago, on the same track with slightly lower temp, but higher humidity. Y’all are acting like that was the final.
