Nobody is talking about who this underage athlete he took “on a recruiting trip” to Oregon. Who would have been underage and around Huntington in 2020?? Maybe someone who is D1 caliber for her parents to believe the recruiting story…Maybe this person was groomed from so early on that she felt the need to forgo her D1 dreams and stay in Huntington for college.
Everyone needs fired immediately. Shut down HU athletics.
Remember when there were all those threads back in August about this situation that kept deleted? There was also an individual who kept trying to derail the threads by bringing up irrelevant things/other coaches. They also kept making underhanded references to Hannah Stoffel and other athletes. It makes me wonder if someone was trying to scare or intimidate Hannah?? and it makes me wonder who that person was?
Regardless, I hope that Hannah and Emma know so many people are standing behind them. Their bravery should be commended.
To piggyback off that, seems odd that victim #1 tried to retract the NCO (no contact order) in July of this year, per public records.
Hopeful that justice is served. Hannah Stoffel and Emma Wilson are incredibly brave. Hate to see them try to be discredited. Especially IF it is from someone else who may be a victim.
This story has evolved so much and is so sickening. I have followed along from the beginning yet I just came across a post that Wiley made on April 10, 2021 on her IG. I haven’t noticed anyone pointing this post out but it speaks about mental health and manipulation. It’s a little hard to follow but certainly makes you wonder what she went through. I hope everyone involved in this is held accountable. This is going to be national news in no time.

We will be linking to this on the front page. I'm just trying to figure out how to best frame it. This has been a story slowly building for years. In recent weeks, I've spoken with everyone - David Woods - the writer of the story. I've spoken to Jon Little (The attorney with the lawsuit) and likely will be doing an interview with him soon. But on the flip side, I've also received calls from people defending Nick Johnson including the then minor who was taken across state lines. She and her mother do not view her as a victim which is crazy to me.
Yes that's right, a minor flew to Oregon with Johnson and then told police he fingered her and showered with her but then tells me she's not a victim and she just told the police what they wanted to hear, how do you proceed?
The story is so unbelievable it's hard to know how to proceed. I'm worried about suicides, etc.

***Upon 2nd thought, we don't want to post this and are deleting this sentence**
I think what I"ll do is start a new thread and then close the this thread to new posts.
Do NOT mention the name of any athletes not named in the Indy Star articles. I know more names appear in the police reports and what not but we don't want them mentioned on her at this time.

For those who are too lazy to click. This is the latest docket entry from Nick’s criminal matter he pleaded guilty to:
07/07/2022 Administrative Event The Court has received a letter from Alleged Victim #1 from the charging information and has been filed into the case as confidential. Letter requests that the Court rescind the No Contact Order (NCO) preventing the Defendant from having contact with Alleged Victim #1 from from charging information. The Court distributes copies of the letter to the State and Defense. Alleged Victim #1 from the charging info is not a party to the case, so the Court can not take any action on the letter. In addition, the plea agreement in this case included an agreement by the Defendant to the issuance of a NCO with Alleged Victim #1 from the charging information. Therefore, the Court could only take action if there was a petition from a party in the case and if the State is in agreement to remove the NCO.
Of note: NCOs prohibit contacting the protected party either directly or indirectly. If he’s coaching the protected party through his wife (as suggested in the lawsuit), that’s indirect contact in violation of the NCO and a new criminal charge should the prosecutor decide to pursue it.
