In many european countries she'd be an outside favorite to make their men's teams.
Loads of US men finished ahead of her in Chicago anyways. And that's despite the fact she has a huge advantage of weighing less. I genuinely don't think that there should be gender categories in distance running: the men's advantage of more strength/power is basically cancelled out by carrying more mass and women are better at fat metabolism. Ernst Van Aaaken pointed all this out 60 years ago.

How do NCAA D-3 100m guys feel when they watch Olympics & W.C. and observe elite women sprinting 100m in sub-11? Most D-3 100m guys sprint 100m in 11-something.
