How do you guys even find four-year-old threads to dig back up and comment on as if the posters are still around and following the discussion? This is one of the oddest things about Letsrun.

not everybody's like you! and that's okay! you can like what you like, and other people can like what they like! and stating this does not amount to liberal social engineering or propoganda!
Your uncertainty might be around precisely what people mean by 'masculine' and 'feminine'. Sure, those things vary to some degree with fashion trends. But they generally stay the same and they stay similar across cultures and races, with differences largely tied to social roles that were geared to the unique abilities of men and women respectively. There has been a concerted media effort in the last 100 years or so to blur the aesthetic lines between men and women, and to blur their social roles. This has led to lots of women spending most of their time in offices and doing wage labor, while government cronies tend to their children. No surprise that the children later look to a nanny state to solve practically every problem. They spent more time in government schools than they did with either of their parents. The confusion has probably also coincided with fewer healthy home-cooked meals. If both the men and women are working outside the home, who does the shopping and cooking? Colonel Sanders, that's who. Folks are barely over 100 years into this crumby experiment and it is not going well. Health is poor. Kids aren't learning. Parent's aren't any happier. I don't know who one blames. Katherine Hepburn? Still, to assume that these changes are being done without any cajoling or manipulation seems a bit foolhardy. Clearly corporations benefit from a larger workforce and both corporations and government benefit from an obedient and dependent population -- something that wouldn't have happened had gender roles remained more separate.
Not sure what the purpose of the term 'heteronormative' is. Isn't it also known as 'normative'? Heterosexual behavior isn't just normal in the sense that it is far more common than homosexual behavior. It is normal because it is behavior without which humans would not exist and no genes would be passed on to future generations. That's why many people wonder if the recent uptick in public homosexuality is due not only to cultural changes, making homosexual behavior less stigmatized, but also environmental factors such as changes in diet and/or exposure to specific chemicals.
4 years later, bears are still in style (and had been for years already by 4 years ago)
and everything I said about them is still true. Women will be all over your facial hair, if and only if it is well groomed. Like the Paris Hilton types kissing their purse doggies.
Also I notice the typo where I wrote bears, but for hell and good humor I will leave it like that.

Usually an automated bot is digging up that old sh!t.
And some letsrun posters start commenting on it after reading page one without noticing the date.
The Brojos love it. Increases their revenue by 17%.

Do you have fleas, ticks, lice, mites, food dribbles in your head hair?
If you think that’s what my beard contains, do you shower? Ever?
This is the most far left, most woke, most fruity comment I've ever heard.
What does Dick Beardsley have to say about this? His name is rather masculine.
You're supposed to say "discus".

Talk about it.
Beard is always an upgrade if kept up.

It's a 4 year old post, but it's full of toxic masculinity, so it's just as relevant to the Letsrun MB as ever.
Did it shave 10 seconds off your 5k? No? Then I don’t care.
