This past indoor season Loudoun Valley did the following in the 3200
9:11 - 9:14 - 9:21 - 9:23 - 9:26 - 9:27 - 9:30
Not done.....
9:36 - 9:39 - 9:49 - 9:52 - 9:58 - 9:59
13 guys sub 10 indoor. 8 of those were Jr's.
Thats pretty impressive.
Southlake Carroll ran this in one meet March 16th:
*5000m
*Nate Lannen (11th grade) ran the 1600 in 4:21 at this meet instead (also ran 9:19 this season as well for 3200).
Jack Myers 12 Southlake Carroll 15:11
Drew Bliss 12 Southlake Carroll 15:23
Henry Gardner 12 Southlake Carroll 15:28
Antonio Florcruz 10 Southlake Carroll 15:28
Hayden Coleman 12 Southlake Carroll 15:30
Chris Tracht 11 Southlake Carroll 15:33
Kieran Beirne 11 Southlake Carroll 15:48
Matthew Sims 11 Southlake Carroll 15:50
Grant Anderson 11 Southlake Carroll 15:56
4 other guys at 16:1x+, and many more beyond that.
...and they're a team that finished only 20th at NXN.
Here's the Woodlands:
3200m
Ben Shearer 10 9:14
Brian Sewell 10 The Woodlands 9:29.44
Chance Gibson 10 The Woodlands 9:39.18
Aidan Walton 11 The Woodlands 9:49.08
Caden Cymbala 10 The Woodlands 9:55.16
3000m
Ryan Cardinal 11 The Woodlands 8:44.40 (also ran 9:22 back in February for 3200)
Ethan Hammer 11 The Woodlands 8:50.27
Benjamin Amundson 11 The Woodlands 8:53.12 (ran 9:47 back in February for 3200)
The Woodlands didn't even make NXN.
Neither of these teams are as good as Loudoun Valley, but they better watch out next year. Both teams are coming back, loaded as well. Keep in mind, one finished near last place at NXN and one didn't even qualify.
