Hello, For me yes it's important to have your private coaches to train you. They can help big for your training, Just because most things are going well, doesn't mean you don't want to improve them and that includes yourself. Many people hire a coach because they know they are built for more and they want to reach their full potential sooner, rather than later
There certainly needs to be collaboration between the school coach and the private coach, as well as with the athlete and parents. In most cases, parents are paying for the private lesson and therefore must feel the need to have a private coach. Everyone needs to be on the same page but head coaches shouldn’t think that they have the final and only answer for every athlete.

Only bad head coaches allow private coaches into their program. Huge disruption and lots of drama. It's also a safety issue.

Eh, not necessarily, but it's weird.
School coach (SC) allows private coach(PC) to work with kids because he knows PC is better than SC. PC is humble and keeps the coaching quiet. PC seeks no glory or recognition for coaching these kids.
SC takes all the credit for coaching these kids to noteworthy success. Like ridiculously so, as if SC is creating an empire singlehandedly.
