Wait I meant to say that to the other guy. SH!T.

A lot of insecure people develop mechanisms to hide it well for short periods.

its well known he basically coaches himself like desi did just wears there kit.
1. Why did Des name Drenth as her Coach after leaving Hansons? This makes no sense if she was already coaching herself.
Because Hanson was her coach. I know as I was there.
2. Ritz has talked about how he likes Hanson approach to the marathon and is excited to see how he adapts to the training. Maybe things have changed after he got hurt going into Boston last year but Hanson definitely coached him last year.

Instagram is where the money is. It's not just vanity it's the modern world of how you make money. Once he gets followers he can sell his training diary for $5 a month as he's currently doing. Saucony will sponsor him more if he has more followers. It's just business.
It's worth talking about tho as it means he is not a professional athlete, he is just a self employed sales and marketing guy, using online content to generate revenue.
There's a 2:25 guy called Ben Parkes in the UK who has a huge Insta following and gets money from that . Is he a professional runner ?
There's loads of 3:xx female runners with good bodies who make money off Instagram content. Are they professional runners ?

You are wrong.
http://www.letsrun.com/forum/flat_read.php?board=1&id=9188256&thread=9188256#9188256I would Love to see a Stinson video where he predictably runs faster than prescribed in workout and ritz rolls down the window and yells out
SLOW THE F$CK DOWN!!!!
Would be nice if ritz were on the course at 2 miles for stinsons next marathon yelling
SLOW THE F$CK DOWN
And when Stinson doesn’t follow orders and blows up, to have Ritz at 23 miles yell out
JUST DO WHAT YOU DID EARLIER MORAN
Finally At the finish
GO BACK TO HUDSON IM DONE WITH YOU MORAN!

Interesting. Will not be surprised if a similar fate occurs. Just like the Sports Illustrated cover jinx, all of this per-race hype and going to run such and such has hardly come to fruition in the past for any USA runner. Talk, talk, talk and zero results.
Even Kipchoge does not put himself out there with 'I'm going to run such and such'
The only talk I see from Ritz or Parker is about him being in PB shape?
How is saying you want to break your PB at the fast Houston Half not an appropriate goal?
Brad Hudson NEVER gets another athlete after that. Talk about a hit job.
Hudson should be asked if he or if he thinks he is taking advantage of Allie. Something feels off there. The dude seems like a predator. He’s gotta be in his 50s right. You can coach a woman and not try to have a relationship with her or move with her across the country.

It’s literally the exact same goal Kipchoge talked about going into Berlin - the poster you quoted shot himself in the foot.
Both of these guys are Class Acts all the way.
I've met Parker several times and he is a top-notch quality individual. He'll make a great coach someday.
Wish him all the success in the world.

Parker Stinson or whoever he is followed me on instagram or something. So I followed him back out of courtesy, about a month later I checked up who I was following etc and I was following this guy but he no longer was doing the same. Stinson is a pathetic loser who spends all day trying a mass a pile of instagram followers.
Dude, people follow and unfollow all the time, to see if someone is interesting or not.
Clearly, you're just not that freaking interesting. Boo-Yah, ya big baby!

Wow, Parker can sure generate emotion! I had the luxury of meeting Parker and even spent an evening with him. I found him very engaging, easy going and an overall pleasure to be around. He was definitely not all about himself, and took time to ask questions and showed overall concern and interest in others. Far from conceited as you might expect from an athlete of his caliber. Yes, you could see his confidence, and that is very common for any person that is successful in what they do for a living. The .0001 percent of people that can actually beat him and feel the need to critique his training/racing/running I guess go for it. He is doing his best to make a living thru running and all aspects that touch it in today's world, which obviously includes social media. I admire the fact that he's going for it in races and isn't afraid to openly talk of his goals and aspirations. Keep it up Parker, many PR's ahead!
Similar. Seeing him the year the Duck Men won NCAA's the first time since the 1980's, Parker was all team and engagingly supportive of his teammates. He's a great "kid."

Is third behind Edward and Lawi at NCAA sub elite?
What about 27:54 for 10,000m?
Talent is not sub elite, and neither are his road race performances from the last year based on the people he’s beating. Marathon is not where it should be but don’t knock a guys whole career based on one event that he’s learning at age of 26
At age 24-25 Shorter had a gold and 27:51/2:10:30 (1972) another example-at age 27, Rodgers ran 2:09:55 (1975). Stinson hammered and abused by Hudson and will need someone more skilled than Ritz (does he even know anything about coaching the sport?). He should get up with the Tinman group and fix his ruined metabolism and stride mechanics. Time is running out ...

This strangely mirrors his attention-hoe racing style.
I've seen Stinson race, and he was not out there seeking attention. I think that perhaps he just needs to learn that marathons are not like racing 5000m.
