Sounds like there are plenty of fans complaining on here.
You're right, ESPN has clearly missed out on getting this valuable demographic to tune in.

The only thing more boring than road racing is triathlon ocean swimming ?♀️.
If it 's so boring don't watch.
I enjoy it and when my non-running girlfriend watches with me she enjoys it, too.
Any sport comes down to understanding the sport- they'r all boring when you don't understand them.
With $25,000 on the line for top finisher it would have been cool to see Fauble running guys down and coming within 4 seconds of catching Ward at the line. Obviously they were over a mile behind but it's still exciting to see the best US performances other than Rupp in years. We might've seen 4 USA sub-2:10s yesterday if NY was as flat as Berlin or Chicago. Great race by Fauble and glad to see Ward back. Check out Fauble's training on the NAZ Elite website. It's incredibly simple but is paying off for Fauble. He's now got to be a favorite for the Olympic team.

Tim Hutchings. Almost every major televised running event is narrated by him.

Who is Chris Thompson, and why did NYRR pay him (a Brit, apparently) more than Ward, Vail and Derrick? Regardless, he laid an egg.
Looks like some NY guys have been placing bets on these runners. Why the huge discrepancies in appearance fees? Sorry but please enlighten me on how this works.

Why didn't ESPN cover the White Sox and Tigers' games this year? Because they suck and nobody cares.
OH GOD IT’S TRUE! IT’S ALL TRUE!
