I agree. I said "in the ballpark" because I can see some people thinking that he must make finals and/or wins medals at the world level before being dubbed "world class."
His status doesn't allow for it. He tries taking relatively long strides for his height, but it comes at the expense of frequency, and he's never going to match the length of the taller guys. You might be saying he's going to get taller, but his physicality suggests that he isn't. And while I'm here, Tyrese Cooper is never going to run sub 20. These kids just develop too early. And that's why you don't hype up child prodigies.
