The 800 is well-known as the least dopable event in track. 1500 is extremely dopable. (Think relative contributions of aerobic system/hematocrit/EPO.) The ratio of the two is useful to look at and 1500 less than double 800 time is notable. Not unusual for a slow endurance workhorse, but very odd for the kind of runner who does 55 as a high school girl.
A 1500 time *five seconds* faster than double 800 time? Absurd. Boosted blood. Noah Ngeny. El G. Lagat.
