Karissa looking really good with 5 to go. Gwen still with her though.

Anyone know what's going on with Rainsberger? Looks like she's still running, but is way in the back - and has been for most of the race.
Gwen makes a move and suddenly Karissa is 3rd
4 laps to go and Gwen retakes the lead with Carrie following. Karissa dropping off a bit.

Karissa leading and Gwen right there with her and 4 other women.
Can't Nike hire a rabbit? They certainly have the resources to do so.
But the fact that you can't hire a high school boy to do it for $25 bucks shows you what's wrong with the rules of our sport and women's athletics in general.
Pretty sure they could do that if they wanted
Gwen and Carrie dropping Karissa
Carrie Dimoff - a 34-year old Princeton alum - is still with Jorgensen and Schweizzer.
26:53.62 with 4 laps to go. Still exactly 32:00 pace. 3 person lead pack.
3 laps to go and Schweizzer is getting dropped. How in the hell is that possible? How can a person whom I barely know and I'm a fellow Princeton alum be beating Schweizzer?
Dimoff ran a 2:30 marathon last year, so she's pretty good but this is surprising.
2 laps to go and Carrie takes the lead with Gwen right behind her. Karissa about 20 meters back.
Dimoff won't go away
Race of a lifetime here for Dimoff. am i right?
Bell lap at 30:43
Battle between Carrie Dimoff and Gwen Jorgensen! Karissa a bit back.
Gwen Jorgensen takes the lead with 100m to go and wins in 31:55
Nice kick from Gwen...the Real Deal
so fantastic to see Dimoff sneak under 32. Love it.
Damn, it says Paige Stoner closed in 63?
What a race.
Thank you all very much for the play by plays.
Schweizer a good 10K debut for a 4:27 miler...that is solid range to say the least
Lol, now I see what people mean when they complain about Flotrack's announcing... very annoying
I believe Jorgensen could’ve run 31:55 off triathlon training. I may be alone in being concerned about the 31:55.
After her fast/controlled indoor 5k this winter and a fat training block behind her, I think she should be flirting with 31:00 not 32:00. Maybe she simply needs to be in a faster race.
Nonetheless, for anybody who thought she’d not a runner, they can shut up now....
Damn, Knight DNS? :(
Who's everyone picking to win the 10k without Knight?

She looks like skin-and-bones right now. Maybe a little overtrained?
