Solid run from Casey. Would love to see him have a good season after being dropped by Nike - he wouldn’t be the first.
Now give Korir the NCAA 800 title
Caught the end of this race on the tv at the gym. Why did Emma’s kick fail this time?? Aisha was rabbiting and still had energy to outkick everyone

50.7 first 400 for Brazier, finishes 2nd after Korir wins in 1:44.21. Brazier in 1:45ish.

The sooner you quit making excuses for him, the better it will be for him. Meanwhile, Casey at 3:57.

When has Emma been known to have a great kick? It is surprising that Praught won.
Insane run. Now what could he do for 400m indoors right now?
Praight and Coburn had a plan . The one in front moved to the outside to let the other lead . Happened a number of times .
A. Emma has never had a kick
B. Aisha wasn't the rabbit
Brazier not far off from the American indoor record. Great bounce-back from Clayton Murphy dropping 4 seconds in a week. He'll be fine for outdoors. Will Robby have a similar bounce-back in the mile?
Korir had a huge burst of speed the last 60 to run 1:44 low. Brazier's 1:45.35 and Windle's 1:45.53 are still very fast times. They are now #2 and #3 USA all-time indoors (Johnny Gray is #1).

Looked more like a tactical error from Kajelcha than anything else. He was back a bit at the bell and had to swing out to lane two on the first bend while Gebrihiwet ran away with it.
I just think some runners are already in form, and others are not. An inform Yomif would have easily run him down. that is why I don't really take anything from indoors. A lot of these runners have yet to really get into their training. We will definitely see a different Yomif come WC and the outdoor season.

no man...I watched the race. Yomif is fit enough, he just couldn't make that burst of speed after Hagos. If this were an outdoor 3k a lot would change.

Lots of guys could potentially win this 800.
NO. Korir is the heir apparent to Rudisha. Such a treat to see such a talent running indoors in the US.
ANyone think the commentating is not very good today? They are missing the forest between the trees. Like if you turned into the 800, you weren't told you had 3 of the biggest young talents in the event. Instead, they individually told you what each had done. IN the 3k, did they say that was a collegiate record for Schweizer? How do you miss that?
the mens 3000 is all commercials. What's going on after the mile mark in this race? Thanks.

From a world stand point I really don't have confidence in any of our runners at 800m. That was as easy as it gets for Korir, and he isn't even in top, top form. I know most of the runners are still early into their training, but Korir jogged, then hit the burner for the last lap.
