Remember when a half injured, washed up shell of Bekele went to Farah's home country in Farah's prime and beat him?

Lemme know when Mo fights off a pack of contenders to finish anywhere near, say, 12:55.
Are you old enough to remember he won 10000 gold in 26.49 two weeks ago?
No. It's literally the only effort of his that I respect. And I've said this here repeatedly.
Even if he never time trialed again after his 10k PR I would have also given him respect for attempting the 1500m (his best event) through a championship season. Why not? Didn't he run 3:28 and 59:whatever and dabble in the marathon all close together? Like a year? All the range; none of the cajones.
Everyone is ready to call him the best championship racer of all time... "Wow that Mo Farah sure took on EVERYTHING they threw at him! Mo is just too good!! The best!" ... too bad the 1500m was too competitive for him to put anything on the line and risk losing.
___
I found another shining example of Bekele's reluctance to lead. He knows he's the better kicker so he just sits back and lets Mo do all the work! Bekele and his 99% sit and kickin really makes me think you Mo GOAT guys are on to something:
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=_rDoJdVz00QGreat performance again from him. He is a great competitor. However, there's that little matter of the absence of any sub 7:32, sub 12:50 or sub 26:45 races and that he's been surrounded by drug coaches during his entire late career rebirth.
At least, that time, Farah got himself on the finish picture. Unlike before he was 27 and met Alberto Androgel/L-carnitine/T3 Salazar.
Bekele might not be considered a complete front runner, but he could easily run from the front, and or sit and kick, and could also kick off the front where other guys would get chewed up by the chase pack

Kenny is not my hero. However, Kenny has run a 10000m in 26:17, which is about the pace Mo ran for 5000m until he was 27. Kenny also has run 12:37 for 5000m, which is about Mo's 3000m pace. As STUPID as you are, you do the math...

Why are you calling him Mo? His jihad name is Mohamed.
Now back to your obese kid, Tania.
For track purposes I guess his name is Lesshamed.

In a 10k Kenny has split like 12:57(MO's best 5k 12:53)
In a 5k Kenny has split 7:32(MO's best 3k 7:32)
Reuters, 2008:
"EUGENE, Oregon (Reuters) - Ethiopian world record holder Kenenisa Bekele tuned up for his Olympic defence by running the fourth-fastest 10,000 metres ever at the Prefontaine Classic on Sunday.
Bekele in a near-solo performance clocked a crowd-pleasing 26:25.97 in his final 10,000 metres before Beijing's August Olympics. "
Was there. The guy was running all by himself on a warm Sunday morning. He was moving like a "tremendous machine." Went by the 5k mark in 13:11. A toss-up between him and Geb for GOAT. Sorry, Mo.

If that were true, then how do you explain Bekele's huge margin of victories? Of Farah's 10 world titles, he won exactly won by more than .63 of a second.
Look at how much Bekele was winning by.
Bekele
2009 10k: 3.81 seconds
2008 10k: 1.60 seconds
2007 10k - 3.13 seconds
(2005 10k - 0.54 seconds)
2004 10k: 4.29 seconds
2003 10k: 1.30 seconds
Contrast that to Farah
2017 10k - 0.43 seconds
2016 10k - 0.47 seconds
2015 10k - 0.63 seconds
2013 10k - 0.52 seconds
2012 10k - 0.48 seconds
Farah won 1 global title by more than a second. The 2015 world 5k title by 1.37 seconds. Bekele won 4 by more than 3 seconds as Bekele won the 2008 Olympic 5k over Eliud Kipghoge in 12:57.82 by 4.98 seconds.
In terms of GOAT discussions, the idea that Mo is better than Bekele is laughable. The only argument in Mo's Farah is he won more track titles so we are punishing Bekele for not running the 5000 many year and for losing a couple of times. Please.
Yep. 2003 Worlds was amazing. The 10k was 26:49 - so the same time that Farah said was a death march this year and is the reason why he lost the 5k. In that 10k, Bekele had to beat both Geb and Sihine.
Then in the 5k, Bekele ran 12:53 - and that only got him third - as Kipchoge and El G beat him. So if Farah is in that race, he gets 5th at best. One could argue that that bronze by Bekele is better than anything Farah ever did in his career.
Farah has 10 track golds. Bekele has 8. But come on. Bekele's 2004 Olympic silver behind El G and the 2003 bronze would have been losses for Farah as well if he'd been in those races. So in my mind, they kind of have the same number of golds. And then Bekele has the bigger margins of victories, the world records and all of the world xc titles and the fast marathons.
Bekele is the GOAT.
Good point, people keep saying Mo was tired after the 10k, bekele did that in 03&04, closed 03 in 12:57 and then ran the 5k in like 12:52 mo ran his in 13:30s
Plus bekele had to deal with the greatest middle distance runner of all time, Mo is running vs Chelimo, Edris, a 17 year old, and like a 19 year old
Bekele had a way more devastating kick compared to Mo as well, evidenced by the margin of victory, and the fact he almost always did it off a much faster pace
He's pretty good. Won the silver medal. Got close to beating Edris.
Let me repeat it again for your dumb ass
Mo Farah is the GOAT
The bummer is that now LR will be plagued for all time with not one GOAT Argument Group (Coe/Ovett/Cram/Ryun/Garrouj/aouita/whoever) but two (Geb/Ken/Mo/whoever). Geez those threads are annoying.
Mo is an f!ng winner.
That race was amazing in context of him losing London.
Guts, grit, determination and conviction.
Edris made a hard move at 210m to go which cost him as he had to go around Kejelcha and came just even with Farah going into the curve. Edris again had to run wide on the curve and move out a lane. The move at 210 to go is what cost him. He was the faster runner, but he lost to Mohammed's pole position.
Amazing finish though. Has there ever been 4 guys all finish within the same second in a 5,000 before? Looked like the finish of a 100m dash.

Yep. I remember that. That was before there were live streams I believe but I remember thinking , "What a disgrace. Can you imagine if he were American? He'd be running at night and with rabbits." It definitely in my book was a superior effort to the WR.
2625 in daylight , heat and crappy rabbits.
Meanwhile Rupp gets a rabbit at night for 8k for his AR.
