Ugh! You Tube stream went down 14 min. into the meet. Anywhere else for folks living remote?
Help some viewers out! Gotta be a free stream out there, right?
200 lived up to the hype.
What a finish in 200 by Miller-Uibo.
21.88 come from behind win.
Schippers came off bend side by side with Talou, Elaine Thompson looked to be poised to move up for win and then Miller-Uibo just blew them all away.

No one??
of course there are exceptions. Jebet being a big exception as you've pointed out. I'd argue that because Ayana rarely races each year, she doesn't really count in this analysiswomen's T&F is generally more difficult to predict and performances less reliable. With the men though, it's pretty consistent that post-WC/Oly meets aren't very speedy for distance/mid-d

history has shown these meets never deliver fast times in the distance events, at least not by athletes who ran well at the WC's or Olympics
Ayana was an exception last year. She ran 14:18 in the 5000 for currently the 9th fastest time in history during a Diamond League final less than three weeks after Rio. It is the fastest time ever run in the women's 5000 after the month of July.
Of course, Ayana was annoyed at herself for blowing the Olympic 5000 so she had incentive to run well. She toyed with Obiri in that Brussels race.
Ayana actually fell shy of her goal in the race because she wanted to break the world record of 14:11.
BTW, Jebet won the Olympic gold in the steeplechase last year and then lowered the world record by 6 seconds from 8:58 to 8:52 later in the season. So there are distance exceptions, at least on the women's side.
Anyone catch the names of the announcers on NBCSN? Who is the guy besides Paul Swangard?
Sunflowers 🌻 on the water jump. Nice touch.
No excuses for not runnign fast tonight. It's 65 degrees in Zurich right now

Emma Coburn got VERY lucky at the worlds. Centrowitz type lucky. Beatrice would've crushed her.

Chepkoech is making a move!
Wth? They just had a freakin commercial break!
Three men remain in the HJ: Barshim, Ghazal, and Bondarenko. Barshim has been "perfect".
Bar at 2.33m
JEBET 8:55.33

Done off a 3:02km
Insanity!
8:55.29 for Jebet.
The Kenyan girls (yes, even Jebet) get their revenge. Back to earth (with a thud) for Coburn.
