very unambitious pacing unless anticipating windy &/or cold weather
1'52.5 is 3'31 pace & ramzi-2 has already run 3'31+ in brutal wind with poor pacing, so in good conditions, this really is nonsense pace
quite clearly another example of promoters not spending serious money to get good pacers
pace paid for this should be ~ 55.5 / 1'51.0 / 2'19.0 / 2'33.0
but this costs lot of money as Canova has stated
Men's 5000m (target: 12:55)
1000m: 2:35, 2000m: 5:10, 3000m: 7:45
they may just get pacers to offer this even if not outlaying much
Women's 800m
400m: 56.5
this race is interesting
off 2s +ve splits, that is 1'55.0 pace !!!
hassan off that nonsense 60+ opener in a 3'57 is quite clearly in 3'53/3'54 shape in a perfect race, however that is not going to get her anywhere close to 1'55.0
these 1500/3k gals usually don't have better than 54s speed
54.0 / 3'53 - 3'54 ->
1'56.53 - 1'56.81
hassan woud do very well to run 1'57-flat
for her to run ~ 1'55.0 requires far better 400 speed than likely 54.0 even though she brings 3'53/3'54 endurance to the table
Women's mile (target: 4:11)
400m: 1:02, 800m: 2:05, 1000m: 2:36.
no chance dibaba is in this form which converts to 3'52+
I'm just curious if you ever return to your ludicrous posts after the fact to admit what an absolute fool you are?

Yes, check out her 'tache...she is too obvious.
It's just me, or Schippers is looking more masculine than ever...
NR for Ta Lou, always liked her for some reason. Maybe her smile.
Maybe because she looks like a woman?

Respiration issues I believe... hasn't raced since March I believe?
I believe you.

I don't think she eased up intentionally.
Went through 1500 in just under 3:59.
Honestly, I have doubts that Dibaba will even medal this year. It's not like she is a super smart tactical racer. She needs a few second cushion on everyone to be competitive in a championship.
She was already tying up but in the last 25 meters she purposefully eased up when she saw she was way off. It could have been a 4:15 flat

Edris should win this. Not sure a sub 13:00 will happen
2:35.5 at 1000 in 5000 is 12:57 pace. Seems like a good pace. Not too fast and can still kick to a great time
Look like about 4:10 at 1600 so slowed a bit.
The Kenyan 5000m is worst of any event. Even worse than their sprint team. AK should bend their rules a little and handpick a team.
Not sure they slowed as were right on it at 2000 5:11.26 which is still same pace
Kangogogo leads (rabbit) and 6 others I think.

Yeah, I don't really see her do that after replaying it, but it doesn't matter.
It's funny that if Dibaba had just started jogging her victory lap right after running 3:50, she would have gotten to the mile mark on the backstretch before the time that she did full out today. Dibaba is a strange athlete.
2:35.53 1k, right on 12:55 pace, but its diamond league pacing so expect a huge drop off,
5:11 at 2k, slightly off
Yep, 7:51 at 3k, 13:05 pace
Who is Sylvester Kipchirchir and how did he get in this race?
