I hate watching the W 800 now. You basically have a couple people the equivalent of above average high schoolers dominating these races. The physical differences between them and the rest of the field is so stark it's embarrassing. One protected class is now going to ruin women's sports unless a better system is found. What a shame.
If you pause the screen at the 200m to go mark, you can see how much stronger and taller the two were compared to the rest of the women... I completely agree. Watching it really makes me sick to my stomach.

"In USA: US fans, we’ve got great news for you. We’ve learned you can watch this meet and all of the 2017 Diamond League season live on tv without shelling out $69.99 for the NBC Sports Gold Track & Field Pass. NBC has told us that all 14 meets will air live on TV in the U.S., either on NBC, NBCSN or Universal HD."
Will air "live" in the U.S. either on NBC, NBCSN, or Universal HD.....the only one it is possibly streaming live on besides Universal HD is the NBC Gold which you DO have to pay for...yet the preview post started out be saying you don't need to pay for anything to watch anything live. It is NOT live on NBC, their website or sports app. 0/10
Not sure your problem. "OR" means or, not all 3. So right now it's airing live on Universal HD TV, which I assume you don't get with your cable package (Verizon?). No way the frojos know exactly what cable service each of us subscribes to, sorry.

Iin the wome'ns 100 hurdles. Kenni Harrison just ran 12.59 into a 2.3 m/s head wind. She did grimace after finishing so let's hope she's not hurt.
I just found a free live stream here:

Stream 2 is the Doha meet.
Loving the showmanship out of this HJ. Kynard really playing to the crowd.
KEEp the updates coming rojo!
My fantasy league is doing pretty well, although the headwind cost Elaine a MR in the 200.
Only Merritt has let me down by losing the 400m.
Rule #1 of fantasy DL: always make Semenya your captain
Wambui did take the fight to Semenya, a bit.

Until you notice that Senenya wasn't straining at all the last 100 meters. Barely looked like she was even trying. Women's 800 is the worst event in the world, I feel bad for the ladies trying to compete.

Classic
Just resisting the results from the 1500m - what's up with Ayanleh Souleiman? He looked heavy and laboured and only managed 11th in 3:40.81 despite following the pacemakers early on.
ANyone watching the international feed. They hit 1k in 2:59.97 and Stewart says, "They are on about 9:10 pace."
Hmm. 3 x 3 = 9 flat.
5 women in the lead pack. Coburn isn't one of them.
Soul Man TANKED hard. Dibaba looked flat-out pathetic. Closing a 1500 in 1:56 to this? Aden's team has clearly backed off on the, uh, "training."
Poor JJ. :(
Well, the one pacer did a terrible job when she went up on the whole field by 30-40 meters in the first lap. The run to catch up really strung the group out. Americans playing it smart this early and staying relaxed.
601 at 2k. Jebet has as shot at sub 9.
751 high at the bell. 2 women are still within striking distance.
Might we get two sub-9s?!
Hyvin Kiyeng takes down Ruth Jebet to win in 9:00
Jebet just under 6:40 with two to go. Looking like a probable finish in the low 9's and not under 9 at this point, which makes sense. Again, there are four in the front group, but Jebet has been in control the whole time. Coburn way back in 5th, maybe 50-60 meters with one to go.
Jamaican national for Aisha Praught-Leer in her Under Armour debut - 9:19.
