And who will decide what is a lie and what is manipulated? Good old honest Donald? The guy who will adamantly and repeatedly say he didn't say something in spite of VIDEO EVIDENCE showing the contrary? The guy who thinks Breitbart and Infowars and Fox are the most reliably honest outlets in the country?
On second thought, you're right. We should set standards for our journalists. When Clinton wins, I trust you'll write letters encouraging her to re-implement the Fairness Doctrine.

Yes, right? I know all about it! It's a button on the wall labeled "wikileaks." I flipped the switch.

yeah, Trump never did anything similar. Ever. Not once. Crooked Hillary agrees.

"Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence" was popularized by the late great Carl Sagan.
What people are missing here is that Trump has made some incredibly extraordinary statements. Many would call them lies. Politifact.com says he is untruthful over 70% of the time. The media has vetted him much more than HRC because HRC hasn't made so many ridiculous statements.
Then Trump complains the system is rigged against him and the media is out to get him. You reap what you sow.

Put two retarded people in as the candidates and then no matter who gets in we are all screwed. That's how you rig and election.

Hillary supporters commonly write "lol Breitbart" after any post that uses Breitbart as a source, regardless of how legitimate the information may be.
I hereby declare that all Trump supporters should write "lol Politifact" whenever that website is cited. That site is at least as biased as Breitbart.
You are saying that Trump really doesn't believe what he says and that he exaggerates.
Well his followers believe him.
And he is inciting this distrust on the system which is dangerous.
Being a right wing conservative is a psychological disorder. It's clear that these people lack a basic command of how to interpret reality.
1. pro-Democrat blatant media bias
2. pro-immigration, anti-wage/labour force policies that overwhelming benefit Democrats
3. voter fraud
There's a woman in my office who has the exact same conversation with dementia-riddled father every day about the house being sold and her mother (his wife) passing away a decade ago. The day after the DNC convention, she was on the phone with the state, asking how to get an absentee ballot for her father (and his nursing house companion who is equally out-of-it).
Whether her intent was for or against the DNC, there's no way her father was in the state of mind to be voting; voter fraud (and effective voter fraud) is real.
Similar, I know someone from my hometown who consistently votes for his two brothers who live out of state. I am certain that his votes are pro-DNC.

They just live in an alternate reality, one fueled by anger, hatred, exclusion, fantasy, and lies. And republicans in office and conservative media are hugely enthusiastic and fully responsible for building this hate-filled fantasy world up for these people to live in.
There's nothing bad about conservatism as an ideology, but it has long been MASSIVELY corrupted by the hateful ideas of the republican party for many decades.
I would absolutely love if the US had two legitimate and intelligent parties that are worthy of respect and votes, it would be possibly to have an intelligent conservative party that actually wants to improve America, but it would look entirely different than the republican party because it would be driven by goodwill rather than hatred. Sadly we have the vile republican party as described above which is just completely un-votable, and the democratic party which is just as corrupt as the republican party but 90% of the time its elected officials are actually trying to do the right thing.

No, I think largely he means the whole system is rigged because the mainstream media is so biased.
Nice try, rojo. Donald Trump just said in the 3rd debate on national television that he would NOT commit to accepting the results of the election. Sorry, but he is clearly NOT just talking about imbalanced media coverage.
Now go ahead and earn some respect: Come back on this thread and say:
"Holy shit! Trump not only just proved me wrong but he can no longer be considered to be a patriot and loyal to America after making it explicit that he rejects one of the founding principals of this nation - the peaceful transfer of power based on election results."
It's rigged like this:
Only rich and powerful people puppets can be president Most people who are rich and powerful don't want the job. Only a egomaniac wants it, has nothing to do with public service.
We will always get crappy nominees.

Just because you put words after his quoted words doesn't mean you actually said anything. You literally didn't counter a single one of his points.

If you want the #1 example of what Trump means that the election is rigged, look at the post-debate reaction to him saying he'd "look at it at the time" to decide if he'll accept the election results.

That's exactly what Al Gore did in 2000 and yet the media is acting like Trump is a monster for saying it.

Please, tell us all how to "shut down" wikileaks. Please be specific. Because Tin Foil Hat Tom seems to think it's a real thing that one can do.
And then tell us all about this 24/7 smear machine. I need details so I can be on the lookout for it!
And then tell us all how Trump was denied once again his moment to shine. You would have us believe the guy from Fox too clearly favoring Clinton.
How many excuses can a trump supporter string together and still believe something good comes from that clown?

But you bring up a good question. Why would people who've made their careers covering politics in-depth overwhelmingly oppose a man who has demonstrated zero knowledge of how government actually works, and who has spoken extremely critically of various aspects of the first amendment and the idea of a free press? I just can't figure it, I surely can't.
Maybe it's because he grabbed many of them by the p*ssy.
Rojo, honestly, you should be ashamed of yourself for defending Trump in any way.

Trump exaggerates and speaks symbolically. Do I think he thinks all illegal aliens are rapists? No, but he wants immigration stopped. Do I think he thinks voting fraud is the main reason why it's rigged?
No, I think largely he means the whole system is rigged because the mainstream media is so biased.
If this is the case... do you really think it is acceptable for the POTUS to exaggerate to such an extent? Do you expect foriegn leaders to assume he doesn't mean what he says? How am I supposed to know when he isn't exaggerating? Does he actually have the BEST plan for the middle east? Will he actually create more jobs?
Do people understand the difference between a biased media and a predetermined election where the public's vote doesn't actually count?
Rigged means the second one.

Yes Rojo, you don't know what you're talking about here. Gore and Bush waited out through all the hanging chads and so on to see who won the race, and as soon as the results were certified, Gore told his supporters to stand down and accept the results of the election.
Don't defend Donald Trump in any way. It is beneath you...it really is.
