Really? I have, over the years, watched many a runner race themselves into top shape. Rudisha just did a fast 800 in, hmmm, ah yes, Europe! After having some slower ones and low finishes. Jock's best years seem to have been when he raced a lot, in college. Those of you who decide how good a runner will be amuse me. We would not have picked him for the team, but he earned his spot. And many a great runner comes through like that.
Jock held the race together for about 700m. In Rio, weeks away, if he holds it together the final 100 he could be quite successful. We will see, but I will be hoping he has a great set of races there.
