Sure, nice story. But you have to finish the race yourself or it doesn't count.
I'd like the BAA to define precisely what the appropriate distance is from which one can get carried across the line and it's still an official finish.
Another guy passed out at 24 and spent 4 hours in the med tent. He finished in 7:22, but he did so under his own power. Maybe his finish shouldn't have been official because he got IV's. But I'll take that effort over this one.
You're really calling for a DQ on someone who's time was over 3 hours? His temp. was up near 108 and people should just let him lay there until help arrives, increasing the chance of damage to his body. If he would have run some type of Olympic qualifier, then I'd say remove the time, but come on man. I bet you didn't even run Boston this year.
