That's a naive statement to make without having been there ^^. There's clearly a line with that kind of behavior and it very much sounds like several people crossed it.
The coach didn't lose his job. He resigned, voluntarily. Huge difference. That should wake up the athletes on the team, and I would think is the best thing for a culture change. When you see your immaturity lead to a coach making a decision like that, it better be time to change.
The university wouldn't have launched the investigation if the video had not been inappropriate.
Also, it wasn't the female on the team that brought up the sexual misconduct. It was a member of the men's team.
