What can "boo'ed" possibly mean?

Will they announce all the entrants at the start like they do at Diamond League meets? If/when Rupp's name is announced, how will the crowd react? Cheers, boos, silence? It's probably in Rupp's favor that he's running at home.
I think he'll get his usual, which is a slightly louder cheer than everyone else. It would be interesting though if the crowd gave him the silent treatment. I can't imagine him getting boo'ed.
Me thinks the fair-haired boy will wear his asthma mask so no one will recognize him.

Or atheists, gun-control advocates, pro-abortionists, mandatory vaxxers, and big govt liberals. Or the type of person who uses a non related question to take the opportunity to attack any ideology he/she happens to disagree with.
It has nothing to do with rallying around common interests and everything to do with protecting a worldview which engenders emotional reaction that disregards any information that interferes with that worldview.
Good job, way to make sure everybody is aware there are two sides to every battle.
Everyone from Oregon has Galen's and Alberto's back, until real evidence of cheating is shown. Right now it is just a bunch of hearsay from bitter past employess, and athletes that werent good enough to keep their spot in the group.

If he was a sprinter, he'd be cheered no matter what.
Since he's guilty in the minds of the letsrun crowd (a mob of non-achievers top to bottom) there may be some boos here and there.
The andro-gel accusations are hilarious. But then, look who's making them.
he does not deserve that treatment. He hasn't even been shown to be guilty of any of the things being said. Grow a pair and be a human.
Now we know why Nike wants all of the US Champs and Olympic Trials in Eugene. Can u imagine if the meet were held in NYC or LA this year?
Good night, Hobbes.
I have a six-foot long inflatable syringe. Look for it at the start of the 5K, at row "G" main stands. I will be cheering quite loudly and waving it with enthusiasm.
Innuendos have been made...no proof yet presented, claims of anything illegal have been vehemently denied, no positive tests for years....why would you boo in this instance. Oh, I get it presumed guilty until proven innocent. C'mon children, give over your childish antics. I hope some of the Hayward faithful will punch out anyone who misbehaves (this is not a football game, children), and the USATF allows them to be removed from the premises-forcefully, if necessary.

Barry Bonds was booed loudly throughout the country but he got massive homecoming cheers in San Francisco.
