She sounds personality disordered from all the descriptions. Borderline + narcissistic is a fun combination.

Bob just totally made his case for the reason he was booted off and replaced by HIGHhorseTOWERofbullsh*t. He is grossly over qualified for the position!
USATF leadership is a joke which is why they don't like certain intellectuals involved in the sports leadership that just expose them for the frauds they are. I have known Hersh 30 years and the man has great character and more than anything is well connected. USATF leadership making such a stink of this is going to lead to a huge backlash among IAAF leadership who will show their disdain for Hightower by relegating her to least amount of influence possible and she will never be elected to any higher positions as have been custom.
She simply saw the end of her reign of terror coming to an end and used all her energy to pull this off. Past time to start over with USATF, this just cements the issue.
There is always more to the story. I respect the other board members who voted to overrule Hersh's nominations, but have yet to hear from their side...has anyone?

The point is if the pro SH faction was able to say to the board especially the persons she appointed or facilitated onto the board-- Look around you here at USATF- after SH is gone do you think you'll get to keep your position? Well that will happen to Hersh. Since few people follow and understand the day to day operations of the IAAF that type of misthinking could be an easy sell.
NO it will not happen to Hersh.
The idea that Hersh is not and will not continue to be held in high esteem by his peers at IAAF, the incoming President, defeated candidate and their supporters alike, is flat out wrong.
BTW Were The Stewarts at Millrose?

Why did she suddenly pull her son from the school district and resign?

A big thing that hasn't been mentioned much is that Bob's age works in his favor. He is retired (as far as I know) and has the time to travel all over the world for these various committees he is on currently and has volunteered on in the past. Yet he has ample energy and has certainly kept up with technology.
Stephanie works full-time. I'm not going to pretend I know much about her personal life or finances, but I would be surprised if she were in a position where she could quit her job to focus full-time on this volunteer position.
A big reason Bob gained as much support within the IAAF as he has is because he has spent many years putting in the hard work required to get there. This idea that Stephanie can just waltz in and immediately rise to the top is insane, and knowing her personality, it just doesn't seem likely. She can be very charismatic and will certainly win support in a few places, but the IAAF is very broad and diverse, and her strong personality, and the backstabbing route she took to get there, will likely turn off many delegates, especially those who like Bob.
Yes but don't forget that Stephanie is one thing that Bob can NEVER be.
A minority woman.
Exactly- don't people realize that we're in Obama's America now? Where the color of your skin is more important than the content of your charcter or your talents. See all the affirmative action candidates at top of obummer administration!
dontcha bet against black in obama's "post-racial" America.
