Exactly what is quoted below...
Until you go sub 14min for 5km AND 8:30 in the 3km steeple AND 2:14 in the marathon at least show some respect.
Take into consideration that it was on the hot/humid side in Doha and this course wasn't exactly flat or 100% paved. He ran a tactical race to win (not a time trial).
Imagine what he could do for 50-100 miles on the track in good conditions when actually going for a good time!

He is competitive at an amazing range of events. 3k steeple --> 100 miles. Throw in a mountain running championship and now a road ultra championship. Oh yeah - don't forget that Mud Run Championship. I would normally not include that along his other legit stats... but it did net him $30k!
Haters shouldn't even waste their time typing and other posters definitely shouldn't waste their time replying to that BS.
8:30 steeple, 2:14 marathon, multiple trail and ultra championships, and the infamous 100 x 200 workout.
Beast.
I know it is not as huge in the US but I would like to see Max take on Comrades.
It is the gran daddy of them all. I get WS is most prob more prestigious for Americans, but I think Max is better suited to the 100k sorta distance and being on the roads is better for him.
Max take a trip to South Africa and take a shot at The 'Rades.
Hell that being said. Sage come down a little from the trail 100's and you should take a shot at Comrades. With you road experience you could also be a contender to claim the most prestigious ultra prize in the world.
