I'm British not American.
PS: our continent IS geographically closer to Canada than it is to the US.

As a Brit you should know that Canada is not a small country.
You also misunderstood his last sentence. Add "is" to it.

Hey Captain Oblivious, why do you keep changing your username? Can't deal with your reputation?

You should be more worried about Geography rather than the good Captain.
Is he still sworn off the mobot or has he been doing it?
Europeans in England don't care about minor races such as WXC.

In other words its not about sport, its about winning in sport and "rejecting mediocrity."
Haha what a joke. The WXC is by far the hardest sporting event in the world to win in terms of competition just because of the absolute number of people in the world who are able to train for distance running which does not require any expensive equipment.
Instead UK sport focuses on winning soft sports which require ridiculously expensive equipment such as rowing, track cycling, or sailing. And they then call the "winners" of these soft competitions "champions". What will they throw money at next? Canoe paddling, modern pentathlon, and yacht racing would be my guess. Investing in these sports has zero impact on the health and fitness of the nation as they are all too expensive and complicated for 99.99% of the British population to take part in.
