All were family records (3 brothers). The week after I ran the 148.8 in 1978, my twin brother goes out and runs 150.1 miles, running 34.0 the last day to do it (14/10/10 Triple).

Didn't you run 1:50.27 for 800M in HS? 50.6 for quarter mile?

Longest Run: reguarly was about a 4 mile loop. We may have run a 5-6 mile run at one point. I guess if you count warm-up and cool-down, a race day during XC would be my longest runs.

Man, reading some of the long run you guys did compared to your times, you dudes REALLY wasted a lot of time.
I'd feel like an idiot if I was out doing 15+ milers and I was getting my $hit pushed in on race day by guys running a long run of 8 or 9 miles.

14 miles once my senior year. My typical long run was probably 8 miles though. Averaged 35-40 mpw. I improved a ton in college.
From the posts I can't make up a correlation between long run and PR's.

I'd say the norm is 12-13 mile long run and low 16s 5k, this is one very fast message board. Congrats guys.
