*The asterisk is because even though there were only HS students in the race, they had a designated pace setter. So I don't count it the same as doing it in a real HS only race, like Jim Ryun in 1965, who ran 3:58.3 on a dirt track at the kansas state meet.
There was no way Lukas was running 3:54-3:55 in a pro race. As I said, there was a rabbit in the race he was in. Without the rain, maybe 3:57.low.
