leg 1: Price 2:01

Splits average out to 3:35.5 per man for Kenya if my math is correct. US was 18 seconds off that so that's 4.5 seconds per man.
So US average 3:40 per man.
On another thread people are saying, "These are in no way official but Casey opened in 3:38, Torrence faded to a 3:36, leer ran 3:39, and Leo ran something around 3:45-3:47"
No idea about the kenyans"

sub 2*
Ovett gives 1:59.1 for Wilson and 1:58.6 for Martinez
Martinez is in phenominal shape this year.
59-2:01-3:00-4:03-5:03-6:02-7:00-8:01.54
That was price 2:01, Wilson 2:02, gall 1:59, Martinez 1:57
By the way these splits are from flotracks twitter, idk who was in the lead for each lap but they're probably all close.
That's a new American record
But holy sh1t Brenda. 1:57 split?
'the russian world record of 7:50 is out of reach for everyone but in the modern era anything to 8flat is a great feat'
straight out of Stevies mouth, argue again on russia and chinas 'clean' performances

You got Gall and Wilson mixed up
Gall 2:02 and Wilson 1:59
Ok ignore my splits, those aren't very good after all.
Great leg by Brenda. She took it out hard to never let Eunice get in the race.
Geez you can get the splits off the IAAF website.
1:58.6 according to the universal sports guys.

Very proud of those ladies, they showed up, and showed up.
This is just a fantastic meet. Fans are so into it.
Next one is is also in the Bahamas? I'm going for sure
Side note maybe an SMR or DMR?
4x8s were so awesome. Bring it back to the NCAA
After her performance in the 4x1500m yesterday(4:0x right?)and her 1:57 800m today I think Martinez should go for the 1500/800 double at U.S.A's. With her 5k strength I don't think it would be too much of a stretch especially with how fast she ran solo in her two races this weekend.
