As a Canadian, I'm ashamed of our terrible 400m runners. But why didn't we send a fmale 4 x 800m? We've got 6 this year under 2:02
maybe they didn't want to go
6 under 2:02 is dandy but that's assuming 5-6 want to go

Yeah, why the hell would 5-6 Canadians want to go to the Bahamas anyway?
. Works on my Roku perfectly. 48 free worked and I decided to pay $10/month nw.

I don't know why Letsrun keeps promoting that DishWorld scam. It doesn't work at all! It says I need to call an 877 number to subscribe to channels. There is nothing on there at all about a free 48 hour trial.
Bahamian runner got the baton knocked out of her hand coming on to the final straight.
hey man plenty of athletes dont want to go. look at the USA teams
anyway, got some splits for that 4x400 (US team).
3:23.85
trotter 51.1
richards ross 50.6
??? 52.2
beard 49.9
They need to add the longer relays to the regular champs. It is so entertaining. Imagine Rudisha running lead off or anchor for Kenya.
And maybe an Ekiden to replace the WC marathon. Who needs a WC marathon when we have the WMMs
US Splits:
Rutt 1:48.60
Andrews 1:47.20
Johnson 1:48.10
Solomon 1:45.16
And for those blaming windy conditions, Jordan Williamsz somehow ran 1:46.3 for Australia.
The US team was pleased with its performance and REALLY psyched to be here. They really are appreciating the crowd and the atmosphere. At the press conference Duane in a classy move thanked the government of the Bahamas for putting this on.
As for the race, Duane said he thought he could get first and went for it and that might have cost him second.
I also talked to Kszcot and he said Duane started pulling away on the turn but he tried to stay close. He said Duane has trouble tightening up if someone comes by him on the homestretch and he hoped he could do that. The entire Polish team has been in Flagstaff for the last month.
American record attempt for Duane is the goal and next at Pre.
3 interviews with 800 guys below. I think the sound is horrible on them. Let me know. I tried a new camera as the interview area is right next to music, but I think I'll go back to an old one. If you listen to them, let me know if the Australian one is better or worse than the other ones. I tried a different setting. I didn't have time to try the other camera which I'll do now.

US Relay coaches are not smart. If you want to get the most out of your 1500m runners, you don't go slowest to fastest. Martinesz needs to run with a runner of her ability which were the first 2 runners - bad move.
4 x 1500 = boring

Don't worry, we have our world class four by one hundred metre mens relay team lining up tomorrow morning

I predict we won't see this event next year.
The band is good. Does that come out on the broadcast?
Martinez should just dog this leg if she plans on running the 800 tomorrow.
16:33.58 new world record. The US ran 16:55.33 to beat the old record.
Kenyan splits were roughly 4:08.0, 4:08.0, 4:10.8, 4:06.7?
US would've been well under 16:50 if Australia hadn't put a body block on Katie Mackey! Why didn't the announcers say anything about this?

i got these splits (watching the feed, maybe laggy at times)
kenya 4:06-4:09-4:10-4:08. adds up to 16:33, so close enough
usa 4:08-4:20(w/ fall)-4:17-4:11
It's boring when no one enters competition. It could have had drama with Ethiopia, Russia or US with JB and MC.Can't believe we had a collision in the 4 x 1500
