Yes, it is.
http://www.charitynavigator.org/index.cfm?bay=search.summary&orgid=13314How ironic that you call me a "moron," and yet you are wrong while I am right about this simple binary.
You blithering, drool-dripping wad of trash.

If Symmonds had given a flying f*ck about this race it would be a bad result. He didn't so....
Not caring doesn't make the the clock wrong.
Bad result. Period.
Dear god Symmonds isn't doping. Is it that hard to believe that one can improve with dedication and hard work to his level given the right amount of natural ability?
Additionally, racing past a peak is nearly impossible mentally; anyone could have seen this coming eventually.
The fact is, racing at events like this is more for fun (In Symmonds Case). It's a unique field of athletes who often specialize in events other than the mile. Whats wrong with racing for pure enjoyment?
Maybe he could have run 1-2 seconds faster, picked up Andy Baddeley, but what for would you work so hard when you're a non-factor in a race. For me, in this race, only the first two are interesting from a sports point of view.
And I agree with others: 4:00min for a mile isn't really a bad result for an 800m runner, considering his build. The 3:34 was his peak, endurance-wise. From there on - speed work.
Where was Garrett's brother?

Moron, tell me, what's their charitable cause? Have you read their mission statement?
Only an idiotic pile of camel dung like you would cite their appearance on some website that happens to have the word "charity" in the title would use that to classify an organization of a charity.
"Together with the help of all of NYRR’s members, supporters, participants, and partners, we're working hard to fulfill our mission of giving all people everywhere a reason to run. Today, tomorrow, and for life."
Sounds like a charitable endeavor.
