I'm amazed to hear someone say that the LunarFly is for the fat kid in gym class as that has been the only thing I have found that didn't hurt me after I finally used my last pair of Skylons.
I went from the Haywards to the skylons and ended up finding about 20 pair on ebay that last me awhile.
Afterward, a buddy at a shoe store gave me a pair of Lunarfly's. They aren't perfect, but they are lightweight and soft, and are as close to a skylon as I've found. Plus, you can find them on ebay for 40-50/pair. I recently bought 4-pair off ebay for 150 total.
Part of the reason I've never tried the other shoes mentioned here is that I refuse to pay anywhere near 100 when I can get last season's model off of eastbay or ebay for half the cost.
The best part about the lunar's is that I manage to get 600-700 miles off each pair whereas the skylons wouldn't make it 400.
If I can find a pair of the lunarspeed lite, I'm going to try a pair of those as that sounds like even a better comparison to the skylon.
